http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_sharing_websites Time to take the videos to MySpace/Facebook? I've used Veoh and Vimeo and they seem to be ok ..... one of my favorite things to do on YouTube was to browse the awesome Rockets videos
Vimeo is pretty good. http://vimeo.com/. They offer HD for their videos as well. I think Flickr would also be pretty good to put the videos
something to keep in mind while yall are tryin to find sites that can hadle these........files are anywhere from 50-100M a piece for the highlights. ALSO myspace is just as anal about copyright violations as youtube is. we are lucky they left us alone as long as they have.....really. think about it, we have had access to full videos of the NBA's property for 5 years.....they havent hassled us at all till now...It was only a matter of time.
Sites like supernova tube and megavideo could work well too Additionally I've had good experiences with veoh
Probably what happened is that the NBA realized there is a demand for games even a few days old or maybe from last year.... I am sure they will want to distribute their own archive of games through NBA.com - with a subscription type of service. Already with league pass you can watch games a few days old....
You guys should start posting on youku. It's 100% guaranteed to have no copyright violation warnings.
If it's the NBA thats reported it that is pretty lame, they are just clips that can't be accessed through them. Lot of work for Clutch to have to do to put them all on a new site but I am sure there will plenty of us willing to help!
Good points. We can really take things for granted here. Vimeo has a 500MB upload limit per week for free. Just a thought.
yeah or tudou(sp?)
Dailymotion and break will probably have the same effect as YouTube down the line
I really like Dailymotion, but like hamza said, it will probably have the same effect as youtube down the line. I think Veoh is even better than Dailymotion, but it has commercials. I'd still go with Veoh, because the quality is so much better than youtube anyways. Also, the myspace video player is surprisingly good.
