JGreen, Alpi, Jabari, Tari and next year pick (likely a real PG) will make big-5(a proper team).KPJ is the future 6th man.

Thats bc Sengun's weaknesses are obvious. When he's asked a dumb azz question like why he's not starting, Silas has to answer honestly. Senguns defense & rebounding is atrocious

    How is his rebounding atrocious?
He’s averaging 10 boards a game on less than 25 min a game.
And his rebound percentage is highest on the team.

On the block, yes. I’m talking about defensively. are you suggesting Al p has above average lateral quickness?

I think part of Sengun's problem is that when he makes a bad play his goofy body type makes him look extra awkward doing it and makes you think he'll never make it ever, whereas with Bruno or somebody who jumps for a rebound 4 seconds too early and slaps the backboard it's like "oh, he'll figure it out"

And just about everyone's defense and the team as a whole are atrocious. Why do people single him out?

Pretty simply because the other guys are big/strong/fast enough to one day make you think they can get better, whereas Sengun is a 6-9 center with a short reach who can't jump very high

He might be able to junk his way into being decent. Slap the ball on the way up like karl Malone. Will have to use more steroids though.

    Alp gets shorter every time.
He is literally the same size as Jabari. Wingspan and height.
Jabari has higher shoulder so probably has a couple inches in standing reach.

For Sengun to work as the offensive hub, I think he has to be option #1 on any given trip down the court - that can be hi post, low post or top of the circle and allowing him to pop the top off of the defense with a drive or post move and he reacts to the chaos created with either a shot or a pass ... He really doesn't need to be a good shooter to do that.
The shooting helps make him fit into the guard centric offense instead. Without the outside shot, he's hard to play as a 2nd or 3rd option but still playable as a first option (See Giannis), as a first option he's taking shots at the rim ...

I think the question boils down to which offense is more efficient - the Sengun initiated or the guard oriented.
That might take some time for us to fully comprehend.
