Harden still has a lot of basketball in him. Dude just not getting started, so he might surpass Tracy and some other very talented ballers..Time will tell though.

Someone forgot to send up the tinman signal. We're six pages into a Tmac thread and he's nowhere to be found.

Minus Iverson, those 76er teams would have finished near the bottom of their division, minus Lebron the Cavs did finish at the bottom of their division. I'm just asking him to win a single playoff series in an exceptionally weak conference.

With rubio and love healthy, they should be in the mix for a 7/8 playoff slot.

At 6'8" mcgrady could have a bigger impact on the game. The problem was, he usually wasn't in the game because of injuries.

just curious...what seeds were Tmac's orlando teams again in the playoffs? and what seeds were the sixers and the nets that made it to the finals that you speak of?

Technically they were a last place team WITH T-Mac his last year there. Thats truly where people started to sour on him. Set the storyline for his Rockets shortcomings

(Of course the same thing happened with DWade in the East, though he was hurt more. But hr already got hardware by then to help his narrative)

Its whats weird with the "never past the first round" label and "rings matter". You could ENTIRELY MISS the playoffs 14 of 15 years. And the 1 year making it you get a ring, and you're a WINNER!

    You weren't here back then.

Adelman signed here because he would have Yao and TMac. He could design an offense for anybody.

Problem was of course TMac got injured. There was the infamous Toronto game where TMac seemed to give up on the team. (Previous to that, there were a number of times when TMac threw the team and coach under the bus.)

There were rumors of Morey about to trade TMac at the trade deadline but TMac preempted that by announcing he was undergoing microfracture surgery that he had not discussed with the FO. That started the ill will, I would say, even with Morey.

Then he tried to come back but complained about the limited minutes that the team wanted him to play coming off the bench. He and Adelman had heated talks about PT.

TMac complained about the organization to the media. Lots of negativity. Read then even the Rockets rank and file staff didn't want anything to do with him. Fanbase was thankful NY traded for him. Very sad ending to a great player.

He seems to be at peace now with himself and with the organization. Hopefully he imparts something positive to Harden and Howard.

And McGrady had a PER of 30+ and scored over 30 points when he was 22-23.
    About the same age.
