Morey tried hard to get a BIG trade but i just dont think the rockets have the spare parts to land big name! We should be happy if we could land Mike Miller!

They would have to throw in a first round draft pick this upcoming draft.

I am not very fond of getting Amare. I don't think he fits are need.

Talent and skill set wise Carter would not be bad for us but I would only want Carter if we are giving up on T-Mac.

I will admit that I haven't seen Mike Miller playing this year, but based on the past I would be thrilled if we get him for Artest and Head.

If Rockets were to land Amare, that would be an astonishing $40 million in cap space in 2010! (Tmac's $23+ and Amare's 16+ million)

Thanks Clutch for some interesting info. I think the trade for Amare is too much (4 players for a player who has a serious injury before). I hope there is no trade involving Landry. As for Artest a sure goner, I am not very surprised. His shots are gone ... he is shooting like 10% for quite a few games and he is also causing locker room problem. I hope we can get Carter for Artest.

Amare is a beast! He is not the best defender and he is best when he is close to the rim, so he might not be the best fit, but if we have a chance to get him we should take it. But we can`t give up Brooks and Head and not get a Guard back. Giving up Artest, Landry and Head would be alright, if we throw in Brooks we need a PG back. Of course with Amare on our team we could go after LeBron and Bosh in 2010 (that`s what I´m calling a big 3: Lebron, Bosh, Yao).

I don`t know how Miller is playing this year, I´ve heard not really good. Miller would be a great fit, if he has a good fg% here. If not it makes no sense giving up Artest for him.

Carter would be great, but he and T-Mac are very much alike. If T-Mac can come back from injury it will be really crowded back there. If we go after Carter it would make more sense to trade T-Mac.

Whatever happens, I hope something does happen. There needs to be a mix up in the team, something to get the players and the fans excited again...

We don't have a first round pick in the upcoming draft (I think). Gave it to the Kings for Artest.

That pick is actually lottery protected, so if we didn't make the playoffs this season we would have our first round pick in the 2009 draft.

Oh ok because it's like i put a ben wallace at SF.

No i made an opinion to put the best talent as our starting 5. Because no one can argue that Shane is a better driver than Scola or that Battier is knocking down more open shots than scola. Battier at this point is making about 1/7 3 point shots a game, which is usually the only shots he takes. We've seen scola knock down 11 straight shots (POR?) mostly jumpers. So don't tell me it's a irrational opinion. Not all SF need to deck 3 balls.

The way you post/opiniate screams out "I am a ignorant douchebag who doesen't think when he posts".

That's really bad deal IMO, if it's true.

lol, what i mean is his game. a power forward who have a great mid range and the ability to panetrat and post if needed. I just think CB has a better back to the basket game than AS. It would be great with Yao is out of the game

Why would they do it? Sadly TMac's value is at an all time low.

The only deal I could see possibly happening for T-Mac is that Baron Davis and Chris Kaman package the Clips offered to Dallas for J Kidd. If it came available, I would strongly consider it.
