Eh. Brewer actually played about as well (if not better) than one would reasonably expect of the 14th pick in an admittedly-weak draft class.

Right now, could he at least help the team in the practice just as a body? I heard on the radio the rockets at the time did not have enough bodies on the practice court due to the injuries.

The Jazz have been disappointed with their recent run of drafted two guards.

Snyder, bust. Brewer, bust. Alec Burks, the clock is ticking on him.

He did but it was more than half a decade ago when the Jazz played the Rockets. Around that time.

Earlier than when AB had his MIP season.

Ronnie Brewer about to show the world he's on Durant's level.

He looked fantastic in preseason, when we played him consistently. He has also always put in great minutes with Thibs in Chicago.

He could not score, could not shoot. 3-4 points per game.
In preseason he also got 8-20 minutes at best.

Casspi was averaging 16 and 7 boards in preseason. Garcia was also somewhere 15 per game. Dmo was also better.
Nearly everyone was better in preseason except for TJones.
He was bad in preseason rather than regular season itself.

Looking at Ronnie Brewer's stat sheet is very naïve.

Nice emoticons. Certainly a good 15 minute player to throw around in the playoffs. Smart defender and tough competitor. Guys like that are always needed, and you could see his value in the preseason, and for every team that he has been healthy enough to play for.

tell me why has he been a guy bouncing from team to team?
If you want a journey man at least get someone like Courtney Lee who can score, defend and went to the Finals.

Ok. He might be a little more expensive but if the owner is cheap then he will be having a hard time gathering a potent team, slower than someone who is willing to invest wisely.

You might be living in the past.
Let me break it down for you.

2006-2010: Four years of good basketball as a young defensive stud who could go to the basket easily with athleticism. Shot was below average but it was there.

2010-2012: Two years of productive basketball mostly in Chicago and a brief stint in Memphis.

2012: The moment he tasted NY basketball and underwent knee surgery his career went south. Shot mechanics went broke. Bounced around (NY,OKC,HOU) Houston is his 6th team.

He is a shell of his former self. Relatively healthy to at least stay in the league and not going to Europe, China. It is a matter of time when he does.

He did a lot of damage preventing the Rockets from getting to the 2nd round, that was a helluva job.
