Lin hasn't changed. Just not a good fit with Harden on the floor.
I figure he'd drop 18-7 in another team easy.

It's like having another ball-dominant player on the floor just messes with his head sometimes. Dude just needs to be aggressive and attack.

This is on the coaches. Its their job to figure out a way to make it work.

If Harden was in the game tonight and Lin was directing the offense like he was today I dare say we would be unstoppable.

They have shown it in flashes this year and last year.

Without Harden, there's just as much pressure on Lin to carry the team as there is on Dwight. There is no such expectation on Bev to do the same.

Either Lin knew he wouldn't be yanked tonight for missed shots/turnovers because Harden was injured, or maybe the coaches told him to just do his thing tonight. There was once again a noticeable difference in his demeanor out there. Swaggy J.

We definitely looked pretty unstoppable the couple times that has happened this year. I wonder if the coaches get that.

If Lin really is on the trade block, Morey can now point to this game as a HUGE selling point to other teams.

SOrry if this sounds wacky, but, do you guys think they're letting Lin showcase for a trade?

He needs to be the playmaker to be aggressive and attack. He can't be aggressive sitting on the 3pt line in the corner waiting for a pass like McHale's offense wants him to.

Trade harden for eric Gordon plus Ryan Anderson. You have a championship team.

He's been playing well all season. If Lin were a Laker, he'd be knocking on the top 10 door with a banner year.

I don't think the issue is with other teams not wanting him. Just not wanting him for the price that Morey wants.

Lin proved again why he has been Mr. Everything for this year's Rockets. They would be 8 games worse in the loss column were it not for his ability to do whatever is asked by the team at a moment's notice. It is very difficult to play effectively when the coaching staff hasn't given you a consistent role or consistent expectations. He rose to the occasion tonight.

The numbers are VERY CLEAR that when Lin plays PG and is allowed to initiate the offense, run PnR, attack the basket and have to guard PG and not SG or SF, he gives THE HOUSTON ROCKETS a better chance to win every game that is played in this fashion.

The number are CLEAR, when Bev plays a backup PG roll, he can be more aggressive and not worry about fouling out or having to take too many shots out of character for him to help the offense, IF his minutes are limited to back-up minutes.

The numbers are CLEAR, the Houston Rockets are a much better team when they move the ball and let their top play makers (Harden and Lin) control the offense in a balanced manner, instead of trying to make everyone else on the team play makers also.
