Rehabbing, unsigned. I see him coming on a team late in the season to help with the playoffs.

I knew it! Troy Daniels is also a quadriplegic and that's why he isn't playing. Morey is using advanced wiring technology in the Toyota Center to make him walk around like a puppet so fans don't get concerned. YOU DONE GOOFED MOREY!

The uncertain timeframe for his return makes it seem like he and they don't really know what's going on with his leg and thus how to treat it. That's the scary part...

The thing to remember with Nash is that he's always had very serious and chronic back issues, which contributed to his leg-nerve situation. (In retrospect, keeping Nash functional may be the best accomplishment of all by that legendary Phoenix medical staff.) With Terrence, there are no back issues that I'm aware of -- I think this is more of the random "kicked in the wrong spot", bad-luck variety.

Not to say that the injuries aren't similar, but unlike Nash, I do think Jones has a good long-term prognosis once he gets past this. But time is certainly starting to add up...

Also this reminds me of Omer Asik's knee last year. They didn't know what was going on at it was constantly not responding...

Except Asik faked an injury due to playing time and TJ is a starter logging heavy minutes

I'm pretty sure Nash's nerve issues all originated from his jacked up back. I don't believe this TJones nerve issue is related to any nerve issues in his back, but I am just playing armchair doctor over here so take that for what it's worth.

Adik DID NOT FAKE THE INJURY, there were pictures of his swollen knee. Yes he didnt want to be here long term but he didnt fake the injury.

You don't have a time frame or exact treatment for nerve injuries, that's the problem. They can try routines that are supporting the healing process, but in the end it's a crossing your fingers that it works out as soon as possible.

Groin injuries don't heal if you play 30 minutes a game.

I think this is a game of chicken. I don't think the Rockets give up TJ for anyone, that is mortgaging your future. Of course teams are going to ask, and want TJones so you have to diminish his value. A nerve injury on a NBA player is serious, I wouldn't trade for that. so I'm thinking they are trying to pick pocket somebody out of a asset that will eventually be stacked with another asset to get us a PF.

groin and hammy issues can linger for the whole season.
