Is there a way we can get a clutchfans.net shop going? Make money off a shirt, shirt is basically free advertising, drawing in more rockets fans, making more money in the end.

I am sure most of us would jump all over buying a shirt with our favorite site thrown on it. And with the recent success of clutch getting on the radio, this site just keeps getting bigger and bigger, drawing in more and more posters. The profit made could go right back in the site and save clutch a little money. I dont see how this is not a good idea. I would love to buy a couple shirts, if available.

I know there have been a few topics on this before (screw it, I couldnt find the other threads) but I never understood why it never got anywhere past an idea.
Anyone want to explain it to me or start a petition? :p

This comes up every couple of years, and I can't remember why it has not happened, I believe at one point it was a copy right issue with the Rockets...but not sure why now..

There are those Smeg Tour shirts out there. I saw someone wearing one a week or two ago at a Potbelly's. I thought about introducing myself to the guy but didn't. We'd exchange handles and then what?

It's kind of weird and I feel kind of silly when I meet another CFer...'Hi I'm Xerobull!' I've thought about changing my nick just because of that. As far as 'and then what' we all have something in common to talk about- the Rockets. Pretty easy icebreaker. :)

I'd buy some CF.net gear in a heartbeat. It doesn't have to say 'rockets' either, just have the site logo and colors.

I would still buy 1 if someone could show me how?

I see people wear clutchfans tee-shirts in the bay area that look kind of homemade not bad. Maybe through cafepress or something?

People are already making them Clutch should think about controlling this by making "official" gear.

well we could put other stuff on the shirts that wouldn't have copyright issues.

like "I survived the GARM after a loss"

    or

"Its summer people suppose to get horny"

You would probably get in a knife fight because of some comment you posted 3 years ago. That's what happened when I met MadMax, anyway.

If you do make the shirts, dont make them plain and ugly, make it nice, with a design or something. Huge Rockets logo, blah blah.

I would love to wear a t-shirt that says something like:

"You can find me at Cutchfans.net/bbs"

Man that would be awesome! I'd want one with that picture of Tmac when he sucked the gravity outta the building. Those pics from the photoshop threads would do awesome as well! Not sure how that's gonna fly with the copy right people tho.

Maybe one day we'll have of those shirts with cf members on it.. like those bob marley shirts you see. I'd like to be "Bob Marley-ized" into a shirt.

I guess that would be it, without the BBS part.
