I get that there’s value to having a few veterans on the team to help with the development of our youngsters, but what the hell is Eric Gordon doing still on this team? Every game he plays he is at huge risk of injury and torpedoing his value. We all agree that there’s no future for him on this team, and we know about his injury history (especially last year when his health blew our opportunity to trade him). Is our front office gonna make the same mistake as last year by taking too long to move him?

Rockets in a tough spot with a glut of players that are not super star level. Only we to get them is to buy over spend for them or find them in the draft!
It is what it is many believe we struck out on Green. Perhaps Banchero or Jabri ?

    No joke he's incredible
But probably still not going any higher than #4

Right now, which PF-SG tandem would you take going forward?

    Mobley & Ivey
    or
    Chet/Paulo/Jabari & Green

    I know my preferred duo

It's looking very likely that Ivey is going to be the first wing off the board, following Edwards and Green in 3 straight drafts
I fear we may have the worst of those 3

Maybe not, but I love Edwards frame and build almost as much as Ivey's impact on winning

As for Green ... he sure can jump high and shop for cool clothes

I also harbor some serious doubts about Jalen Green as a franchise player. But Green has always been about projection more than the present so I am still hopeful that I will be proven wrong. Maybe we will see a different guy once he comes back having had some time to sit and watch and with the improved spacing the team has found since he went out. IDK. The fact of the matter is that Green's natural gifts are far beyond any other player on this team and the Rockets will really go as he goes so I am hoping that they get every ounce of potential out of him.

I like players like Giannis, players taken as a later pick.

Edwards had 40 lbs weight on Green in his rookie year alone. Different players.

Highlights look impressive, but...they all appear to be against really inferior competition. If you're up by 30+ points, are highlights really that impressive? Would be great to see how his stats and play is against ranked teams and when games are at least close.

The Rockets are lucky because this draft is four deep at the top.

If Ivey is the BPA, I'll take him, but we need Paolo or Chet. Jaberi has range, height, athleticism and a good frame. He doesn't alter or block shots at the rim. He's third on my list.

The Rockets will be lucky to get any of them IMO. They all have the ability to be long term starters or possibly more.

Need more wing players. The last time we had good wing depth (2018), we were really good

Yes we need wing players that are 6'8 and 6'9, long arm that can defect passes and make the 3's. I like Jalen Johnson or PJ Washington or Kuminga from GS. We need to trade Wood and get either Myles Turner of Indiana or Mo Bamba of Orlando. We need toughness at the center position and we need length and athleicism at the wing spot. Having Porter and Green at the Guards is great and the are athletic and 6'6 in length. We need more size as a team and more toughness. In the NBA we are a known as a passive team around the league.
