Yup, the groin injury is still lingering......

 

I would like it if Aaron Brooks played in more games in the D-League before he is called up. I just don't feel that two D-League games tell me anything as far as his readiness for the NBA level is concerned. He still might have some rough edges that need to be ironed out.

 

I'm pretty sure he's called up because Skip is out. He'll be sent back down once Skip comes back. With all this talk about Francis and James starting, I wouldn't be surprised to see Luther Head start.

 

when ra is hitting his shot he is the best PG on this team. unfortunately, thats about every other game. here's stevie's chance, he needs to step up while ra is out.

 

Not so happy about this..Rockets 0-2 without Rafer...unless Brooks gets some significant playing time which i doubt..were going to have trouble because its obvious SF or Mj are not the PG's for this team

Maybe Rafe is lying low with his groin pull so he won't get traded... He's in a good position, since it seems the team can't do without him, yet he doesn't want to wow potential other teams that may want him...

The only reason Brooks is being called up is because Adelman realized how bad Francis and James are. I predict a lot of minutes for Luther Head, and hopefully some minutes for Brooks too. Honestly though, Rafer is very underappreciated on this team and we are defintely worse without him.

 

No Rafer against the Mavs equals problems...big big problems

Brooks will not get PT (or at least not any meaningful time) as some of you are assuming, so that means it will be the James and Francis show.

The truth, they are only going get so many opportunities. I would love to see Brooks light it up, the crowd would go nuts. Unfortunately, he probably won't see the floor.
