We need to let them that JVG is the right coach for this team

I hope Rockets don't end up with another coach like McHale

I don't trust D'Antoni to run this team

I heard Kenny Smith fans were rallying.

When's the Mike D'Antoni rally? or Vogel rally? ;)

I really doubt JVG will bring the same offense back. Stop perpetuating the myth when the man himself has said he would change things.

We want a disciplined team that respects the coach. A coach that doesn't put up with inferior effort and ineffective defense.

0-3 playoff record as a rockets coach twice blowing a 2-0 series lead. Blowing fourth quarter leads in game 3 and 4 at home versus Dallas with a chance to go ice the series. Losing game 7 at Dallas by 1 million points and blowing a fourth quarter lead at home versus Utah in game 7.

Last playoff win as a coach: 2000

I'd rather roll with good D and little O

than just O without any D

You must have reading comprehension difficulties. Once again, he said he would revamp his offense.

If you really wanna dig into those series look up who the role players were playing along with our 2 brittle superstars. "Flying" Ryan Bowen defending Dirk anyone?

I like how members here keep bringing this up time and time again as if Van Gundy didn't have a plodding Yao Ming up and down the court. It's hard to play or attempt to play a fast paced defense when your 7'6" center isn't a gazelle.

When they rallied for Kenney's hire, all the people were black.

Will white folks be allowed in this JVG ralley?

Those two superstars were completely healthy in 2005/07 playoffs. Go figure, when you have two superstars that were both top 10 players in the league at the time the rest of the team is not as good. So he gets a pass no matter what aparantly. Just give him a lifetime contract then. It's never his fault. Basically people here act like he's Pop or Phil when in reality what was the greatest accomplishment of his 4 years? The tmac going crazy against the Spurs game? (Spurs won championship that season anyways)

Yao came in 2002. JVg came in 2003. He knew what he signed up for. Before then he had slow ass Ewing.
