Is that like his third season ender in a row? I don't think even Houston fans get comprehend what's going on with all these injuries in Portland. :(

Get well soon Greg. It sucks to see your talent being wasted by injuries the past few years. I hope you have a speedy recovery!

You can't be serious. What you describe is the exact same thing we are going through in Houston, except our big man is a top 2 center in this league.

Anyway, I have nothing but best wishes for Greg. It sad to see an injury-prone guy finally starting to play well and then have it all taken away by a freak injury.

This is worse than what has happened to us. At least we've had the pleasure to see Yao Ming at full strength for long periods. This guy seems like he's about to get injured any moment. Really tragic.

Okay. But does Yao get injured about 20 games into the season? No. Yao and Tracy don't miss 60+ games a year. They usually get hurt sometime in the middle of the season, while Greg... well... what can you say? :(

What a shame. That's why I know people say life is brutal.

Great young man who just doesn't have the luck. And I strongly belive he is in much worse situation than Yao. He is already after microfracture and just when he started playing really well this happens.

Hopefully he will be back. Best wishes. Btw, who understands blazers fans more than we do.

I feel really really bad for Greg Oden. :( I just wish it hadn't happened against the Rockets. That sucks that it always has to happen to him. It could've happened to anyone, like Pryzbilla or even elsewhere in the NBA. But who had a season-ending injury last night? Greg Oden, go figure. But we already know Greg Oden is strong. He came back this year after like 3 or 4 injuries and started putting up some numbers, so I think he should hopefully be fine next year. And by no means am I a Portland fan, I just think it's horrible for this to happen to any player. :( Best wishes for Greg Oden to beast it up next year and live up to his potential!

Best wishes Greg. I wouldn't wish this for any other team, we know about injuries far too much..

We should try to trade for Oden. He would fit our injury prone line up so nicely. Get it done Morey.

Hopefully he's not sam bowie part 2. He's got a lot of potential and Bowie was just a scrub.

I hope he recovers well and fast.

I had a lot of respect for him after the loss in the NCAA finals. He was playing his heart out but the rest of his team was mediocre. I knew Conley would be a bust, but I felt Oden would eventually develop. Such a shame...hopefully he gets his chance.

I'm used to this crap though, following the Cavs/Big Z and of course the Rockets/Yao.
