Yao is Hall of Famer and deserved a Championship on his legacy but the injuries wouldn't allow it. But his impact was so much greater than a NBA title. Congrats Yao, CLASS ACT!!!!!!!!!!!

My only minor complaint about the production which I agree was great is that (1) I would have liked to have seen the transition up the floor with the behind the back dribble (maybe I missed it) and (2) would have loved it if it ended with him saying "I'll see you in the club". ..

Same ... that scene of him resisting being taken back to the locker-room with the injury really got to me.

Very well done. It also made me sad all over again that if he had stayed healthy he could've brought us another championship

Great video. I saw they included the Ben Wallace dunk, but needs the Ratliff dunk. The ATL crowd noise lol.

Absolutely loved the video and the ceremony!!!
Like others have said, manly tears were shed in my castle!
    Thanks @Clutch for posting it!!!

    Go Rockets!!!

As much as enjoyed the ceremony honoring one of my two favorited players of all-time (Dream being the other), I am also very annoyed by the fact that we (The Rockets/Les Alexander) have not been able to bring back Rudy Tomjanovich back to our organization!!!!!! This ceremony is another prime example of how important it is to bring him back! He was as important as any in helping Yao get acclimated to the NBA and helping him grow as a player in his first year! The last story by Yao of how everyone gave him a red envelope with money for Chinese New Year....RudyT was part of that as well!!!!

Come on Le$$, put your "Big Boy" pants on and get this done already!!!
RudyT deserves to be back with US!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry for the rant...:(

Yao is officially a goodwill ambassador to Houston

I know in the past we got some people who had their own agenda but
Yao had Houston in his heart and it shows, no tweets, no bs interviews. It was real.

I was only disappointed that Rockets Superstar big man Donatas Motiejunas wasn't incorporated into the ceremony.

Free Throws. Yao needs to keep his hands up. but to Harden's credit, the new trick handshake move is going to draw a lot of contact.

That **** was so hard to watch last night. I'm so glad they lowered the House lights. Tried to hide some of that liquid off my face by drinking the warm $1 beer. I want to watch it again but have to build up the strength.

He was actually in the room for the press interview. Yao jokingly mentioned him a few times for a translater. Such a goof that Yao is.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one effected by all the dust in the arena!

I also had "dust" in my eyes watching the video stream of the game at home. Such a great player and, like many others, I firmly believe that we would have at least one more championship banner hanging from the rafters had the big fella stayed healthy. Yao was incredible. Simply incredible.

    Class? It's spelled Y-A-O. Yao!

(Also, a great job recording that with a hand held device (phone?), Clutch!)
