    Decent pick with Head, I really wanted Jarrett Jack or to see us take shot on Taft but what can ya do? Let's see how this works out.....

    Good pick for the future, heard Head boosted his stock at the Chicago workouts, any trades being worked out from now on will tell if management thinks he's ready to be in it for the long haul. Don't think well be seeing much movment in the backcourt. PF upgrades to come i reckon.

    Somebody said this about him...

    Maybe I?m just in a good mood tonight, but I really like this pick too. The Rockets need help at the point and Head should be able to immediately come in and help out at the position. He has great size, is a fantastic athlete and has a beautiful stroke from 3-point range. I think Head was one of the most underrated players in the country this year. He's not a pure point, but he's better than anything the Rockets have right now.

    Don't ask who.

    ESPN Analysis: (this is me paraphrasing...)

    "a guy with a good handle who can get his own show" "a good defender, with a 6'5" wingspan" A player who could wind up playing the 1 or the 2 although he's a little undersized at the 2 spot".

    Not what I wanted to see happen. I would have thought we could trade a future 2nd to move 2 spots to get Jarret Jack. I thought Denver had a point guard... Now it looks like there going to be doing a trade with Portland or somebody, so Jarret Jack is going to be in the Western Conference for a long time, playing against the Rox...

    Oh well, let's see what kind of magic CD can pull off with Free agent signings and dumping our unwanted trash... :p

    I think we will regret passing on Simien. Greg Anthony is right when he says Head will have to fit around T-Mac and Yao. If he can't play as a 1 he will be a liability as a 2 because of his size. He is a decent defender and can shoot but I don't think he can fit as 2 or a 1. I hope he proves me wrong.
    Honestly I'm disappointed.

    I am physically sick over the decision to draft Luther Head. Aside from the "Richard" jokes I am already hearing from some Left Coast friends, we didn't get a true point, a PF, an athletic three, a young backup third center -- nothing but a leaper they kinda sorta maybe think could be a PG.
