I would hate to see it if we ultimate lost in Game 7 because nobody will remember us if we don't win a championship. It's like 2009 when we took the Lakers to Game 7 without Yao. People today would still laugh at the idea that we had the ability to dethrone the Lakers.

"They're such frauds. They're the Raptors of the West. ROCKETS - WARRIORS, THE MATCHUP WE'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR! They're gonna get swept. They don't play defense!"

Whoever this valley girl hoe is, she perfectly combined everything we hate about the media into one clip. Mocking tone, repeated statements without actual knowledge (defense), zero thought given, zero credibility.

It is the exact same as that, and this has been on my mind since the moment Paul hit the floor.

The Rockets have now won 3 of the last 4 playoff games against the Warriors. The Rockets likely would have wrapped the series up tonight if Paul was healthy.

Great article Clutch. I had no problem with analysts speaking their minds, and if they truly felt it was going to be a sweep, saying it as well.

My issue is their unwillingness to just say “Man, was I ever wrong.”

After game two - “Well, it was obvious the Warriors just really didn’t try as hard.”
After game four - “The Warriors just don’t seem to give the same effort after a win.”
After game five - “Iggy’s injury is showing up in crunch time, that should have been him in there instead of Cook at he end shooting that.”

I’m so sick and tired of this narrative that’s actually put out by Golden State them selves, about how if they -try- they can’t lose. Bull freaking crap. They tried, and they failed in each game they lost this series.

Also, what analyst are unwilling to speak up on, is the fact that Iggy’s contribution is on the defensive end. I’m sure we would have not mind at all if it was Iggy shooting that three at the end. We have played -terrible- for he most part on the offensive side of the ball the last two games. His injury would have been much more noticeable if we would have had an offensive outburst following his injury, but we’ve actually gotten worse on that side of the ball since. Does his injury hurt GS? Of course it does.. you’d be an idiot to think it doesn’t, but no where close to the damage that analysts are making it out to be.

I'm not Clutch, but I think a ton of people are assuming no more CP3 this series given: MDA's quote about winning one of the next two for CP3; and then the basic nature of that injury, at his age.

I’m at peace. The Rockets have a great shot and I believe they can pull it off. Yet the Warriors are a great team and I know it will be difficult. If the Rockets lose I’ll be proud of my team.

    Brilliant!

This should resurface if (or is it WHEN?) the Rockets beat the Warriors, even without CP3.

    If we ban ESPN takes
That forces Clutchfans to actual have their own opinions

I know the 99ers have the gift of independent thought
I can’t believe Clutchfans is full of mindless lemmings
