Sign and trade Melo for Harden. Then use our cap space to sign LeBron.

Why Harden and not Howard? We have a valid replacement for Howard, we don't have a valid replacement for Harden. I mean, this is all based on a ridiculous notion that Lebron wouldn't just come to Houston to play with Harden and Howard without Melo anyway, but if true, we'd be better off with Harden/Lebron/Melo/Asik

Lol can you imagine the hatred spewed towards Houston if that were to happen?

Honestly with all the money both have made and with James already taking less before why the hell not? In all seriousness look at the Spurs big three. They've made it work by taking waaaaay less money. Sell that to Lebron. Also if he thought he got attention and endorsements in Miami with a big 3 imagine a big 4 and you could still keep Parsons on top of everything else!

    Bev/Cannan
    Harden/Daniels
    James/Parsons
    Melo/vet min
    Howard/vet min

    Greatest team EVER assembled

LeBron is one player who has actually been able to implement some of Hakeem's moves, if he could get in the gym with him consistently he should be able to improve his post game even more which would help him transition to PF for the tail-end of his career.

Lebron is coming to houston. I knew Dwight was coming to Houston, only doubt was when GSW got cap room, signed iggy.

During allstar weekend in Houston Lebron had the night of his life with these H Town females... they are cheaper and have bigger backsides then the chicks in Miami. That's how you recruit Harden and Morey!!! That's why Lebron is talking to his wife first... gotta let her know beforehand... IT'S HAPPENING!!!

Pipe dream. Would need to trade Harden AND Howard to get Lebron....

unless he forces his way here

which is even more of a pipe dream. Why would he come to the West? And if he does, he can easily go to Thunder and pair up with Durant/Westbrook or the Clippers and pair up with Paul/Griffin (both better duo's than Harden/Howard).

You're not even going to bother to put in the slightest bit of research before you post?

Heh, no they wouldn't, they'd just have to trade Asik and Lin.

As to the Thunder or Clippers, neither team could make the room for Lebron without making numerous moves.

That isn't the same scenario, and I don't want to trade Harden, unlike some people here, but in a hypothetical situation, if Morey knew that losing Harden got you Lebron James, how can you not make that deal?

Is les willing to pay luxury tax? With the rockets having the mle and I think some other exception. Isn't our selling point to Lebron is that the rockets have the ability to sign other pieces to the championship puzzle, allowing the rockets to have more depth than the heat.

If we have Lebron, Howard and harden. The team needs depth around them. Okc and the heat showed no depth isn't going to win a championship.

So sell Lebron on the rockets are going all in!

Again though, it's not a realistic scenario. Sure if losing Harden got you Lebron you do it, but that's not even a possible scenario. If it comes down to having to take on Melo as well to appease Lebron, then Howard is the one you get rid of to make cap space, not Harden.
