When mediocritry becomes the norm you tend to have lower standards.

Nope. I agree that Paul is a better player than Beverley and DMo, but I don't agree that replacing two starters which severely impacts rotations and depth is much easier than replacing Paul.

Not only is Houston playing without two starters, DMo was also the backup center (for the most part). They are also replacing a pretty good defensive PG with 2 37 year old PGs.

Every team has to deal with injuries.

And they could have it back with a win tonight or Sunday. And if you think cp3 is coming back 100% and not rusty youv never played sports or had a hamstring injury it's just not possible. You can't pull a hammy and actually need rest and be back a 100% in less than a week. No happening and and sane person knows this. Not saying Paul doesn't make them better just saying he's not going to be the same and thats fine with me because griffin is a lot better than Paul imo and Paul will take the ball out of his hands atleast 50% more.

After listening to him the second time, I felt more positive because he said if we play hard and trust each other, we will be all right.

Howard isn't a playmaker or someone you can throw the ball to and say score. He looks good now that he's healthy, but the Orlando Howard is gone.

We simply haven't had anyone to handle the ball opposite of Harden and without that then the entire post season focus is on Harden. I agree with YaoMing, you folks are disgusting with your ignorance and irrational behavior.

Or if you're a mental midget who doesn't understand context. Based on your posting history, perhaps you need another team to follow.

Nothing about the NBA is mediocre. Maybe you're just too elite for the NBA.

Not really, it can be seen (observed) that a defensive adjustment wasn't made on Blake for multiple quarters. Dude is slow as molasses when it comes to making timely adjustments. Don't understand all of the coddling of this guy. He, IMO, hurts the Rockets chances of winning it all. I mean if people are really fans of the Rockets wouldn't they want to see the best, most capable person lead the Rockets -whoever that may be or could be? No la comprendo

A donkey with its tail chopped of could coach this team to a victory over a CP 3 less Clips at home

When it really mattered McHale showed just how pathetic he is as a coach

    So not giving him credit

I hope the rhetoric stops now. Oh we played without Howard all year. Oh we played without two key players in the playoffs. Oh blah blah blah. Lets call it how it is, McHale is not a good coach. I guess he is average and can get us win, but we need a good to great coach if we are going to do anything in the playoffs.

It's one thing to lose games when we are neck to neck, but we been getting blown out a lot. Ugh.

Who could be happy with how this team has become? Somebody needs to be held accountable and if it's not the players or the coach than who is it?

How can you seriously have players come out and play like the way Games 1, 3 & 4 have gone. How does the game plan become hack-a-jordan from the tip and the offense goes without scoring, multiple times, for 5 minutes at a time. There's no discipline in this team. There's no team basketball. There's only team losses. Our wins come from Harden 9/10 times.

It feels like nobody is being coached to move without the ball or how to freaking pass it. At first I wanted to believe it was a continuity issue and being unfamiliar, but this is the PINNACLE of our season and we are playing like absolute SCRUBS.

Something has got to change. There's too much talent on this team to settle for this absolutely embarrassing 2nd round.
