He has a Exhibit 10 deal. A one year deal that can be switched to a 2 way.
Same thing with Clark. Markel and RJ should be replaced with Deng and Duval. Duval can get a lot better in the G-League. Deng's defense can improve, and he can get overall experience. Only two 2 way contracts
    are permitted by the NBA.

I wasn't happy with the Edwards selection. DM can just send him and Clark to the G-League too.

I think Clark will turn to be a good NBA player. Perhaps Deng and Duval too, after a year of G- League experience.

RJ, House and Markel won't be able to help the Rockets out much.

We need to bring in Melton as our backup 1 to start the year.

He should work out with Lucas when CP3 isn't around. Yes, I do agree with your statement in principle. Improved playmaking and shooting will give him that position. I have no confidence in MCW.

I get it might not be easy for the Rockets but i'd try to sign him to a 4 year deal.

I think agents are wise to that Chandler Parsons' special.

How? In order to sign a player to a four-year deal, a team needs either (a) Bird rights to the player, (b) cap room or (c) the Non-Taxpayer MLE. The Rockets have none of these. Hence, it is (basically) impossible to give him four years. That is, unless you'd like to dismantle the entire team in order to create the necessary exception to do it.

In order of who is most likely gone by the start of the season

    1. Nanu
    2. Anderson
    3. One of IH/Qi
    4. Nene
    5. Capela
    6. Gordon
    7. MCW

I suspect at least one, probably two, and maybe even more than two of these guys are gone.

I think Melton and PJ are locks along with Harden and Paul. And I believe Melo is coming. And Green, Ennis, most likely will make team with a small chance that MCW gets cut.

    Who could replace them?

Too many possibilities. Maybe one or more of these.

    Whiteside
    Kelly
    Winslow
    Otto
    Butler
    Love
    Adams
    Jeff Taylor
    WCS
    Kosta
    Bazemore
    Batum
    Cody
    Marvin
    Knight
    Warren
    Daniels
    Chandler
    Richaun

I appreciate your post. At least, one of the options is not likely to come back to Houston. Jeff Taylor has chosen to stay with Real Madrid.

He didn't have a jump shot as a freshman in college (28.5% for an 18 year old isn't exactly atrocious though), but keep in mind that he also didn't have a sophomore year. A lot can happen for an 18 year old over the course of a year and a half becoming 20, including an improved jump shot.
