Carter could be Smart and Kel'el could be Timelord

I believe those two would be Ime's DraftPick preferences

while adding veteran depth in Kennard,Aldama or even Caruso in a Bulls trade

    ...

The gap between the 3rd and the 9th pick isn't much, however Memphis isn't likely to give Houston anyone significant in return. I don't think Clingan should be taken at any cost by the Rockets. Sheppard is also a 7-10 pick, nevertheless he's better than Clingan.

He has decent court vision and passing ability along with his C/ S jumper. I'm not sold on his defense, since he goes after steals most of the time.

He does look coachable to me though. If Stone selects him at 3, I can live with it. Every player has quite a few warts in their game in this weak draft.

Yes, just fyi I'm not picking on you......just picking your brain as to your honest opinion.

Plans need to have an end game. I believe Amen was an, "Oh, Well, all deals fell through"......
"Let's go BPA (by all the experts claims)"

My underlining must: will Udoka play a player if the defense is not up to par?

    He will play: Marcus Smart

    Will he play: Kennard?

Will he play: Sheppard? (defending college players is different than pro NBA players).
....................Jeremy Lin had offense; but couldn't stop anyone due to poor lateral speed.
.....................i question Sheppard staying in front of college players. Interested in seeing
    .....................him vs pros.

    He will play: Santi Aldama

    He will play: Brandon Clarke

He will play: Clingan (removes some clutter in Steven Adams and/or Landale)

He will play: Zach Edey, play drop coverage like Clingan. Edey scored faster in Shuttle, Cones
....................and 3/4 court sprint over Clingan. Edey can give us 18 minutes off the bench.

Mavs are done brehs. This draft will determine whether or not the Rockets become the new Boston Celtics next season. It can be done.

This reminds me of the time the Rockets tried to be the Spurs and Worriers......

And only had a better Ginobili in Harden who was gassed out.

Im kind of hoping the top two picks overthink things and Sarr slips.

If Sarr slips, get him at 3 immediately. Trade Sengun and a future 1st to Portland for 7 and 14.

Really? Why not have Both (Keep Sengun) & trade Jabari for 7 & 14?

Could Sarr and Sengun share a frontcourt? I think they might be able to. I'd think the front office would give up on Jabari before they give up on Sengun.

I don't think Jabari would get it done. I forgot to throw our 2nd rounder this year in there. BTW. I'm not trolling. I just think with Adams, Landale and Sarr they could build on that progress from Senguns absence last season. With the added rim protection they could take it even further. Only if Sarr falls.

What if Sarr ends up being better than both of them?

Yeah. I’m sure that’s how NBA FOs work. Let’s trade away one of our best players, because we think an 18 year old might be better in 4 or 5 years.

LOL That is EXACTLY how NBA FO's work - especially in a draft that is less than stellar. Funny thing to me is how Jabari is coddled and insulated when in reality he should be getting as much if not more ire than Jalen Green.

I think Sarr would fit in perfectly. He could be a 5 next to Bari and a 4 next to Sengun. I’d trade up for him if the price is right.
