    People keep mis-understanding the Portland trade. The Rockets didn't get any 2014 2nd round picks in that deal. They get a 2nd in 2015 (better of Denver and Minnesota) and Portland's in 2017.

    For the 2014 2nd round, they only have the Knicks pick. Philadelphia own's the Rockets own 2nd rounder.

    after the big two, parsons is the most untouchable player we have.Plus Portland has Batum already as well.

    Asik, Lin, Jones, Motiejunas and multiple future first RD picks for Aldridge, Lopez and Waston would be sweeeet.

    Totally agree. The Blazers are in great shape at PG and SF with Lillard and Batum. I really think Asik is the only thing they would be interested in, along with one of our young PFs, especially now since the inexplicably let JJ Hickson go. Do the Rockets really need 1st round picks the next couple years if we can roll out a lineup like this for the next couple years, plus whatever we might pick up with the full MLE or RLE, and vet minimums?

    Lin/Beverley/Canaan
    Harden/Garcia/BJ Young
    Parsons/Garcia/Williams
    LMA/Jones or DMO(whichever POR doesn't want in the trade/Covington/Casspi
    Howard/Smith

    I didn't want to post this last week, because I'm just some dude, but my friend who delivers for Tiff's Treats said he overheard conversations about LMA coming as an almost certainty when he brought cookies to the TC officers.

    They won't want Parsons or Lin because they already have better alternatives in those positions. Keep dreaming.

    They could use lin as a marketing tool, no team wants lin or would consider him right now strictly for his talent, they look at what marketing he could bring to them. which to some teams may be worth it.

    If Morey lands Aldridge, then Rockets will be Championship or bust for sure.

    It really depends on what Rockets would like to give up. Parson?
