I'd rather be the #2 seed.

I think I'd rather face Portland than Dallas, though we should beat either. Being #2 just sets up better for a title run, because it gives us a better chance to avoid GS & SA.

This would only help Memphis if they tied only the Spurs or only the Rockets for the division lead, which they can no longer do. The first tiebreaker in a three-way tie is combined record against those teams. The Spurs would own that tiebreaker since they were 3-1 against the Rockets (Memphis was 2-2 against the Rockets and 2-2 against the Spurs).

This reminds me of the 2008-09 season, we had to go to Dallas and defeat the Mavs. We would have been the #2 seed (due to having tiebreaker advantages over SA, DEN, and POR) and wouldn't have played the Lakers until the WCF. We lost that game 95-84, and dropped all the way to the #5 seed.

Its crazy if we had one more win we would basically be locked into a 2 barring an epic collapse tonight. That Memphis game with the Randolph no call really stings now.

You know what game still sticks in my craw? The Raptors game. Lowry's in a suit and we couldn't manage to beat them. If we have that win it changes one hell of a lot of these scenarios, and it's a freakin' convoluted array of scenarios!

Don't want the 2 seed ?! Spurs loss coupled with a Rockets win = #2 seed and avoiding both GSW & SAS until the conference finals.

We don't know if we are playing on Sat or Sun yet right? I have a ticket, but I have to be back at work in Austin on Monday...

Every team in the West minus OKC is not exactly a team that I feel comfortable with the Rockets facing. It's a shame KD went down or else these play-offs would be more insane.

Pelicans are going to be playing balls out tonight. I'll be watching that game for sure along with the Rockets. I think NOLA has a shot at winning, a good shot. Spurs gotta lose sometime, right?

    Cmonnnnnn 2 seed!

Only if Memphis loses. If Rockets win, Spurs lose and Memphis wins, Spurs fall to #6 and Rockets would be #2. We would see Spurs in 2nd round.

Lots of scenarios at work tonight, will be fun to watch!

The last time we played the jazz still stings. It was second night of a back to back. That game really pissed me off.

I didn't know if they had released the game schedule by seeding, ie 1v8 plays at x:xx on Sat or Sun, 2v7 plays at X:xx time, etc. So that we would at least know if we are seed 2 we play at this time, seed 5 at this time.

Blazers re-match and please let Mo Williams play for the blazers, just for this series.
