Yeah, that was impressive. Clearly the best player on the court from the first video. Guy in green shirt had a nice spin move but finished with the wrong hand, but still a good play.
Yeah, I layed up with the right hand because I thought 00rocketgirl was going to slide over and take away the left. Unless you're talking about a different play. I play pretty well with both hands. It's about the only way a guy can be successful in the post if he doesn't have any real size to speak of...and I'm no shooter.
I mainly passed it to her because I knew she shoots well. Gerald Wallace was also on my team, and he shoots it well. You have to understand that the other team averages 6 1, so we had to go to an outside shooter.
Yeah, she was torching us out there. But CCR didn't get our big comeback and victory on video! The only highlight I got was a baby hook through a double team in which I clearly traveled on my first step.

(btw, I'm super glad there was no stalker footage of me in the scrimmage video. you know that one guy in the rowdies thread was offering 5 stacks for my audition video for this year :grin: lol. Also I was shocked that you said hi to me today and didnt wait until after the event to write on clutchfans that you saw me, like the last 2 times) I really really really lucked out with the clip I was videoed in. lol. I was much much worse earlier, I promise. Kidcave, invest in a pair of shoes with laces. lol
There is less awkwardness these days. Pretty soon, we will be running into each other at Toyota Center a lot. Watch.
ankle support is overrated...i like low tops myself....but the few times ive used slip ons i did have a lot of trouble stopping firmly... 00rocketgirl, what's your basketball background? With those mechanics i imagine you played for your school at some point?

kidcave- no ankle support, results in a lot of broken ankles, the kind you don't need casts for. The kind I like to give. And doesn't begging technically make you a beggar? Before I was obsessed with the Rockets, I was obsessed with hooping and wanting to play college basketball, my mind changed junior year in high school because of a lot of reasons. Funny, that was the year I became a big time Rockets fan. I played AAU basketball for like 7-8 years. Starter 4 years in hs, 1st team all district 4 years, I just found out this week that I hold the record in scoring at my HS, and a few other little achievements.
the girl is making the guys look like scrubs. no one else can shoot a lick; the girl has a nice stroke though.
I would like for all the folks that are commenting on the video to come on out and play with us. Just sayin' ya know? Come dominate out there, please.
thanks for the comment on the stroke. But this was just a 4 minute clip. Everyone else can shoot that was there. Like Kam said, I was open and my shot was hot in that 4 minute period, so he kept passing it to me, so I kept shooting, and at that time my shot was falling. It was just my luck that CCR captured this bit on video. Had I been recorded earlier, you could have said "wow, that girl sucks, she keeps shooting and missing" In the clip above, there wasn't too many shots taken, I took like 5 or 6, so you really couldn't get a good assessment of everyone's shots. Don't take away anything from their game.
i would but i live in SF. i'm pretty average myself (as i'm primarily a shooter and too short to do much else). but i hope those vids don't justify the level of play you guys put on on a regular basis. and it's not the skill level th; the intensity just wasn't there on the video i commented on. the girl was the only one who is into the game and thus did well. i mean, if you're going to play halfcourt, you gotta play harder than that. maybe it was the 4th or 5th game or whatever. but you play like that at a basketball gym, you get kicked off the court.
That girl is pretty good... But overall there is a lot of standing around considering it's basketball.
