It's about 5pm. I'll give SCK props though for everyone coming out. That's always good to have more people out.
Astros game... Pick up ball Astros game... Pick up ball Astros... a fuhk who am I kidding. I'm there! Sneak Peak: Spoiler
Damn...all these people are making me wanna go. I hate half court, but am always down for full court games...
Not really possible. The goals (6 of them) are at either end of 3 tennis courts, so to play full court you'd have to jump over a tennis net at the mid court line.
I'm not a tennis guy, so I don't know how easy it is to remove a net. I imagine it's not that hard, but if my mental picture is accurate, the goals are pretty damn far apart. Actually I just looked it up, and a tennis court is 78 feet long. That's only 16 feet shorter than a basketball court, but the goals at this place are probably about 20 feet back from the tennis court, so we're looking at a 118 foot full court game.
I spent over 2 years trying to find a suitable place to play, this is the only court we've found so far that is available and decent enough to play on. If you don't like half court than tough ****, I'm sorry. You want to find us a place to play with a full court? Be my guest.
No full court?? I'm fine with full court I hope y'all play no more than 3 on 3 on it, sucks when it gets cluttered. I'm so pumped, I hope the turnout is good
I know of several full courts about 10 mins away from Pin Oak. One is at Lansdale Park, which is in Sharpstown. The site is : Lansdale Park The other one is next to Ed White Elementary called Crain Park. The site is: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?h...ark&hnear=Houston,+TX&cid=7647703784399429224 Both have 10-11ft goals full court, and free to the public. The Ed White park is a couple minutes further from Pin Oak.
