50 degrees is cold? You all need to move back to Hell. I'm going to be slapping b****es and screaming in faces.
I got a casino trip with some fam this weekend, but next weekend, Im in. I'll text Dave and get directions to where you guys ball. Get ready (for a out of shape guy).
Can one of you guys email me when you play next time? I haven't played ball in a while and I would love to join you guys. Thanks!
Eh, es all good, I just like to run around and scream "bring the rain, bring the rain!" like a mad man. I serioulsy haven't hooped since I lived on the SW side, we had a bunch of good spots around there (roofed) to meet up at.
We've had a lot of trouble locating spots, and when we had a good spot, it was usually being used already. The Tennis Courts at Post Oak Elementary (Across from HCC West Loop) are almost always available, so that is where we've been playing for the past year or so.
What time you guys usually roll up there? I knew this place off Rice right by the Sam's club but its only half court, indoors though.
If you guys can head out to east houston, behind my apt complex there's a "small full court" behind an elementary school. Think the goals are 9 foot, might be 10. Its always empty......Just need nets......let me know
East freeway (i-10 near downtown) by the St. Arnold's brewery thingie (Hennessee park)... it's a'ight and lit. Some of us old folk would like to play, but our knees won't be able to take concrete pounding, yo. How's about a wooden floor?
Just curious, is it a 10 ft goal? double rimmed? And I'm guessing you guys play just ones...unless there's some kind of 3 pt line?
I can say with some certainty that the rims there are actually slightly higher than 10', if only by a few inches. No 3-point line, so we generally call our own threes and then squabble amongst ourselves if anyone disagrees.
