I'm down for tomorrow as long as we get more than 3 people. I might be out in Katy until around 1 though, so might be a little late. I went out and played at the court today and the kiddie situation wasn't too bad. Played 2 on 2 and then 3 on 3 when this 12 year old kid showed up. You guys should have seen this kid. He was like a white, mini-Luther Head, draining 3s with a hand in his face, cutting to the basket. I should have recruited him.
I have plans around lunch time, but I would make it out if other people are going. Could be there about 2.
To be clear, we're playing at the usual spot, right? I'll bring a broom in case we end up at the half court with the leaves from last week.
I played there today and everything seemed fine, so yes we'll say same spot unless we get there and some more bull**** is going on.
I'm going to pick up Shannon in Katy, will probably be back around 2, then head over there... shouldn't be too late.
That dude running the show on that other team of dudes was hardcore. Plus he had a teammate named Cheeseburger. Who has a teammate named Cheeseburger? That guy.
that was hilarious where I was all confused where I thought they wanted to split up, like 2 of us 20+ year olds with 2 of them 14 and unders, but they were like "naw, we'll just face all 4 of yall", and I was like..... um k and we busted out our best Harlem Globetrotters impersonation.
I'm out for this week. I'll be gone saturday. I don't think anyone will be playing tomorrow anyway. And of course the Rockets-Lakers game is at 2:30 on Sunday.
