that sucks dude, :( we showed up at like 1:40ish and then CCR, Kam, Raven showed as well, so we had enough for games, just everyone was running a little late.

Our games got bombarded by like 40 little kids trying to play 20 on 20 full court on the kiddie rims anyway.

It seemed awesome, until the novelty of making fun of the kids wore off and they kept wandering into our game seemingly oblivious to the much larger people that could easily step on them. Freaking parents apparently didn't give a crap that their kids were running wild destroying the basketball court.

But the games we got in were fun, especially when moes went Ron Dayne on finalsbound and ran through her on his way to the basket.

A couple of days away. Far.

Damn moes is quite dangerous when he's driving in. I learned early on to just let him go at it when he puts his head down and goes in for the drive. Plus he does those wild layups and there's 50/50 chance he'll miss :) . Poor finals hehe.

I remember when moes tripped and went crazy. That was a little scary, good thing he was in my team. Be careful out there, beware of the moes. Did he hurt any of those kids? I hate playing with little kids.

You guys should know by now I'm crazy and usually go home with more than a couple scrapes and bruises, but thats just the how I roll, I would never try to hurt somebody intentionally. Of course when Kam blocks me I usually like to hunt him down and steal the ball from him even if he's like 30 feet out of bounds. :p

As for running into shan, she was trying to play defense down low on mig even though we had the ball and she was on offense where she usually camps out Novak style on the 3 point line. I went to drive and she walked out right in my path with her back turned to me, and well there wasn't much chance of me putting on the brakes. Which is probably why she's about to leave me for a frail asian guy.

I kept waiting for that to happen to one of those kids on the top of the key. One of us could just be dribbling around the perimeter and they wander into our path. BOOM. No more basketball OR baseball for little Timmy.

All I remember is guarding Mig in the lane, realizing Derek had the ball, turning to Mig and jokingly saying "Why am I playing defense?" I had a chuckle and began to move toward the perimeter...then SMACK. Fell hard on both knees. It was my fault I wasn't paying attention. But hey, you can't say I camped out Novak-style yesterday. I was near the basket a lot of the time trying to rebound and double Raven...because he kept getting easy layups. I think I did a pretty effin decent job on D. Even made a three. I was pleased with my progress.

We could have just stuffed at least 10 of them in those mats wrapped around the rafters. The rest would have either ran away in fear or we could have punted them into the soccer field.

Parents were there and didn't tell their kids to stay outta the way? Were they old enough to listen to some other influences?

Ga Deng! hahah. As for what moes said, Shan actually plays some pretty good D in the paint. I remember several occasions where she got some good steal down there. She does especially well defending Dave heheh. She's very sneaky she'll come around from the weak side and catch you off guard.

Btw moes how's that ankle? I bet you're not wearing any braces. You just seem like the kinda guy that just toughs it out. Quite dangerous.

Man I remember when we were playing on the short rims, the only people dunking were CCR, his friend, and moes. The rest of us midgets got blocked.

Its fine now, I got a good pair of Nike Shox that pretty much keep it wrapped up by themselves. Now If I could just get into shape, I might not suck so much out there anymore.
