Yeah it was pretty awesome, too bad Bobby couldn't seem to hit the broadside of the barn. He got pretty pissed off about it too, tried to slam one home but Yaozer swatted him pretty bad.
My comments weren't meant to be derogatory towards anybody. It was more along the lines of my disgust for half-court in general. In all honesty I'd rather shoot aound by myself than to play half court and by better options I meant that 2 miles from my house there is a 24 that I can play full court ball at every Saturday morning for a few hours. To be truthful on the hanging out part, I said whats up to you and finalsbound, I even joined you guys from the goal I was shooting at before you guys got there to the far goal that ya'll decided to shoot on. To me it seemed that almost as soon as i did that, you guys went to the other goal and the short baskets and started shooting around for a little while until more people started showing up. I didn't know what that was about until you said, "How about if we bring some speakers and play the 8 Mile soundtrack"? It's cool though, I'm a grown man and don't need to be befriended reluctantly.
Ok ok.. I didn't really swat the ball. More like stuck my hand in there somewhere and got parts his ball (no homo) while fouling him a bit (but he didn't call it) and knocked the ball loose right before he went up.
Btw, what is up with youtube? I try to upload a clip and then after I waited forever for it to load, it doesn't show up. Then when I try to load one again, youtube goes down... then I have to do it all over again.
Hey man, we're internet nerds, we don't do so well with strangers. When I show up I tend to just find a basket and warm up a little by myself in my own little world. That whole 8 mile thing was a joke, hell I used to be the biggest rap fan in the world and wore 3XL shirts with crooked hats and baggy jeans, I know the type. I wasn't trying to paint myself as better than you, you are actually really good at basketball. I just got a little peeved with the tone of your post because 4-5 of the regular people who have been showing up came up to me last week and seemed kind of a little bummed out at the way things were going. I understand you're in better shape than any of us and prefer to run full court. I would love to be able to do that. Bottom line? Someone had to be an ******* and say what every else was thinking and I became that *******, because... I am an *******. Which is why I wrote that as my name tag yesterday. If 15 people show up and 13 of them want to run half court, what are you gonna do? Sorry you wasted your valuable time.
