Maybe it's just me, but I think we all pretty much notice anybody who happens to wander up there close enough to steal something if they're not associated with clutchfans. Then there's the issue of most people having no other choice but to bring certain items like keys, a wallet, or a phone. I'm one of those people and I will be bringing my stuff with me to the court. Don't care much about my car. I'd gladly pay the deductible to have that thing stolen.
Dude, I'm sorry. We just...connected. Yeah, my cards were stolen, I have no idea how considering they were both in my purse the ENTIRE time and $60 in cash was also floating loose in there...very strange that the cash wasn't taken.
Makes me think twice of bringing my new car up there. Nothing happened the last time but if that is the case. I want to bring up my beater car so they don't do anything. I don't leave anything in my car but just the chance that they might key it or try something really is gonna keep me on edge.
Sucks to hear that there might have been thefts at that parking lot. Some of yall should band together and try to catch them in the act.....and of course you should always call "NEXT" while waiting for the next game. Time for revenge!
How about I print up a bunch of these... Spoiler and we can all tape to our cars? Sounds silly, but I have to believe it'd work. Plus it's funny.
Kam got his truck broken into there during one of our games. If I were a thief, I think I'd be more likely to steal from a car in a parking garage as opposed to one in broad daylight. Then again, I'm not one. *shrug*
Hmm.. I hope the car theft is just a one time thing.. and hope you get your money back, Shannon. Also, I play ball every Friday night at a private property from 8-10/11ish. It's an outside court that is uncovered so usually we play depending on the weather, but this Friday is looking good so far. You don't have to worry about your car getting broken into since it's gated. It's a nice environment there and anyone interested is more than welcome to come and I can give you my #. The place is at Richmond/Walnut Bend. It's behind an office building so if you're driving by on Walnut Bend (coming from Westheimer) right before Richmond you can see it. Just throwing it out there for anyone who wants to come before Saturday. Other than that, I should be seeing you guys in a couple of days.
