i don't know what happened. i've cut about 8 pounds in the last 3 weeks. i thought that would surely help with my endurance. but man, i was gasping for air hard just running up and down a couple of times.

i second the motion for half court if it's that many people. i love full court but i think everyone should to play and not have to wait a couple of games.

that's what we do at this church i go play at on thursdays. basically, the people who have next will just play at the first game that finishes instead of having ot pic sides.

Nice playing with you guys - good to see a lot of Stalkers and nice to meet others, esp my undefeated teammates :D

However, I recalled why I haven't played on concrete in years ... my back tightened up after the first game and is still very sore as I lie awkwardly on my couch as I type this.

Damn man you are tall. You had those 2 crazy kids that never got tired that were all over the place. I think one of them was jcee.

And my team had me, the guy that chunks shots thinking he's as good as Rafer.

Nah you made made our jobs easy. The big fella did the dirty work on the defensive boards so we could fastbreak as we pleased. It was fun, hoping to get a team dynasty out there every Saturday

lol NO website up just yet. Went to the ER SAT around 3:00 because my right leg was 2 times bigger than what its suppose to be, turns out i had a skin infection so they gave me a shot and cut my wound open so all the infection could drain out. Needless to say i wish i was at the Y instead of the ER. I get off every other SAT so hopefully i can make it another time.

It should be. I'm a little wary of the parking lot though.

Someone broke in my car likely while we were playing and stole Shannon's debit cards. :(

Really? You say "likely while we were playing", so how possible is it that it happened somewhere else?

How did they break in? Window, picked lock, unlocked door, trunk? I thought about leaving my stuff in my car but decided to bring it to the court (I've had my wallet stolen from my car twice before, so I'm paranoid).

Well, if we're feeling unsafe there's always that other court I suggested. The parking is so close there that you could literally shoot from the hood of your car.

Anyway, sorry to hear about the vandalism.

Well Saturday around 3:30 there were charges on her debit cards at a Chuck-E-Cheese in Stafford. She remembers having them when we were at my apartment before we left to go to play basketball. So the only place it could have happened was in that parking lot. Kind of strange since it was in broad daylight and not exactly in a shoddy part of town (but not far from it.)

I didn't even notice it until yesterday but somebody busted the lock on my passenger's side door with something and must have opened the door, stole only the debit cards out of her purse (but not the cash she had in there, or my car stereo) and relocked the door and took off. She got the cards canceled as soon as possible and hopefully she'll get her money back.

Anyway just a heads up to you guys, I really like the court and it could have been just a one-time fluke thing. But I'm going to keep anything of value out of plain view in my car and locked up or close to where I can see it from now on.

hmm, that bit of info doesn't add up. then to drive to stafford just to use it at a chuck e cheese? either way, it sucks. good luck shannon.

Yeah thats the part that has us puzzled. She had cash in her purse. My Stereo is detachable and would have been an easy grab. Why grab only the debit cards and run up $250 dollars at Chuck e Cheese? Who the **** spends that much on tokens?

    Weather update for 12/8

Partly cloudy, high of 81, 20% chance of rain and about a 9mph wind.

Very similar to last week but with less wind. Sounds perfect to me.

Warning: Do not leave valuables in your car. If you have to bring something that you don't want stolen (wallet, phone, watch, etc.) then bring it to the court where you can keep your eye on it.

i would think it's easier to steal your valuables from the court. really, no one pays attention to their belongings when playing ball. just don't bring anything of value at all.
