    If McGrady's doctors were recommending surgery and the Rockets wanted to prevent McGrady from getting microfracture surgery just so they can trade him, wouldn't that mean they are screwing him?

    +1 for that post.

    the majority of this board still says that McGrady screwed us last year. partially true. but the fact of the matter is.. the rockets' doctors were the ones who insisted that he shld play through the injuries. and T-Mac did that.

    now who is to blame?

    If Yao , Shane or Artest had did the same thing.. those players are FIGHTERS. but T-Mac tries to play through injuries.. well you know what they will say.

    You can't use logic in here when discussing mcgrady. He screwed them over by getting surgery that he didn't need.

    Thanks for calling! Good question on free agents ... to be honest, I hadn't even considered that because they let Pops go and I'm expecting them to cut overall salary between now and February, but it raises a good question. I certainly hope we don't pursue a Jerry Stackhouse -- maybe Rashad McCants again?

    Yeah possibly McCants... I mean if we can get a personal scorer off the bench, it would be nice... possibly someone like a Von Wafer... help us out with our scoring droughts that we get sometimes during the 3rd and 4th quarters.

    ugh looks like I wont be able to call in again today

    so question would be:

    A few weeks/maybe a month back the Rockets cut Pops because they needed an open roster spot given Aaron's ankle tweak..Feigan at the time cited it may be to bring Conroy back to the team. Nothing has been done yet to the spot are the Rockets looking at any possible undrafted/D-League signings to fill up that spot or do you think its more for a possible 2 for 1 (ie tmac's contract) type deal and if so for a trade why cut Pops so early in the season when no movement has been made. His size and shot blocking skills could have been useful in spot situations.

    Hey DD Mike Harris would be a great fit for our style of play i remember him and Carl Landry were very similar back in the day.....Do you know if he is still playing in China??
