    Why would they?

    Monta Ellis is the Anti-Morey type player.

    Plus Teams can't name other teams players by name when it comes to interest. It would get them in trouble.

    But they are not asking Morey, they are asking Dave......he is free to talk about what types of players the Rockets might want in return for Tmac etc.

    I'm not sure I buy that ME is the anti-DM the GM type player.

    Plus Clutch can comment on what he has heard without it being from 'Teams'.

    I don't think him shooting more shots will effect him mentally though.\

    He's a humble guy and knows how to submit himself to a team.

    Clutch mentioned McGrady was afforded special treatment under JVG. He would sit out half of practice, and watch from the sidelines, in a director's chair. There are more stories like that to come out...

    Thanks REEKO_HTOWN and MayoRocket -- I appreciate that.

    Yeah, I'm with you. I'd like to see him take fewer shots, but I'm not real upset about it. Ariza is 24, has a great attitude and has room for growth. It's not like there are tons of better options -- certainly not a Rafer situation where you have a 30-year old PG who won't improve shooting the ball playing with superstars. If the Rockets get Yao back and add another top scoring option and Ariza is still shooting high volume at a low clip, then I may be concerned.

    If Yao + top scoring option come in for next season I would expect Ariza's looks to improve, with the volume being supplanted by the quality.
