I was really surprised when I looked at Miller's stats at how good a finisher he is at the rim. Very good numbers. He's very simply an offensive dynamo.

I wonder if Landry was healthy would Memphis take him instead Scola for Mike Miller.

I would tend to agree with you. While I don't want to give up Scola for him, I'd love to have Miller. So would McGrady, who knows his value. Haven't any clue, of course, as to what Tracy thinks Miller is worth, but he's sung his praises many times and hated it when Orlando moved him. Ideally, we get the guy without giving up Scolandry. Miller comes in for offense, Battier for defense. McGrady sees his minutes reduced and more open looks when he's on the floor with Miller, becoming more effective when he's in.

Battier and T-Mac were T-mates of Miller. I wonder if they would lobby to Morey for him. Scola is great and all but if the deal was pretty much Scola for Miller I would have done it. What we see from Scola in the upcoming season will probably be his ceiling. I think with a midlevel, a 1st rd pick in a PF heavy draft and Carl Landry as well as expiring contracts, his contributions could be replaced. Miller is the ideal type of no.3 option / 3pt threat we need.

You're kidding me right? Have you seen Scola's track record overseas? He is a proven WINNER. I'd trade Landry long before Scola. Besides, we're paying him next to nothing.

I'd ONLY consider offering a S&T Landry for him to help better matchup salaries and relieve our MLE to get other players we are targeting. But don't get me wrong I'd LOVE for Landry to stay and he and Scola provides the best 1-2 PF punch in the league.

No way I'll trade our best PF Scola. He is like the PF Jose Calderon.
