Anybody want to play NBA Survivor? The rules are the same as previous editions of this game. 1) Pick a team and the date you think they will win. 2) If that team wins you survive and may play again. 3) If that team loses you are eliminated and may not play again. 4) You may not pick the same team twice. Each week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. When the first game of the week tips off you are locked in with your pick. As an example, if you pick the Lakers to win on Thursday and Kobe breaks his ankle on Tuesday, it's tough cookies for you. You will not be allowed to change your pick. Damn. Didn't even see this thread. Too late to join? Just give the eliminated people a mulligan for week 1. Or, have the week 2 joiners pick 2 games this week
I wish I had waited to see teams play for 4 days first and then picked...seems a lot easier to figure out. next year.. Unless week 2 entrants are allowed--in which case I assume week 1 eliminateds are back in with the mulligan!
Change in the deadline to make a pick. Instead of having a deadline at tipoff on the first Monday game, the new deadline is tipoff of your pick's game. That's similar to the NFL survivor rule. The earlier you make your pick the better since you have more choices, but you can wait as late as Sunday to make a pick.
