oh boy if francis becomes a rocket again i am gonna hit the roof because of what morey has done in one semi-offseason to revamp this team. you can never have too much talent and all the talent he is stock piling are all low-risk, small $ contracts that can be move if it doesnt work out.

    but onto the franchise:

i dunno yeah he makes stupid plays, yeah he dribbles the clock yeah he isnt that great of a shooter yeah he is still not a traditional pg but something about francis that always make me want to root and cheer for him like he was my son. no matter how many boneheaded mistakes he makes i'll always forgive and hope for the best.

"family considerations" makes it sound like hes either coming here or dallas because it's close to Houston. Then again his whole family could prob move to LA or Miami.

If "fit" and "family" is the priority then Houston seems like the best choice, but the Rockets are a whole different issue.

I'd say he is likely to come to Houston, I was reserved on my prediction until I saw the "fit and family" comment.

he didnt suck too bad look at the last few games he played for the knick right after buyout talks stop when steph and crawford got injured he put up some pretty impressive numbers....the guy can still play he just needs proper minutes which he never got in ny. heck isiah thought it was better to play nate robinson in front of him. he wont get the same numbers he like he once did but i dont think francis is washed up

but it's TRUE. baron came back from INJURIES. francis has been relatively healthy his career, so he can only comeback from sucking.

has anyone mentioned that the reason SF is financially secure is because of his contracts w/ the Houston Rockets. Portland buying him out was a gift to him... since $$ isn't an issue... logically, i would say that SF OWES Houston for his financial security and come play here and just suck it up if it doesn't work out

I think Francis is the best MLE player available option for the Rockets. Who else are the Rockets going to give that 2.3 mil to?

If the Rockets sign Francis, do they trade Rafer and have Francis and James compete for the starter's spot...or do they trade Luther Head and have Francis backup T-Mac at the 2 spot?

In any case, I hope the Rockets find a veteran big man and/or a backup swing man at the 3...Matt Barnes would be perfect coming off the bench for us.

i dont mind if he signs. its not like we're actively pursuing him. we'd just be signing him because he'd want to come here for chump change.
