If that's the case and he's got it going between the ears (smart basketball,no dribblearama) grab him at the vet minimum......Steve's gotta know his role though...would probably shine in Adelman's offense.

 

he's older now, that was years ago, after him going through the hardship in new york and orlando, he would change. i think the tmac trade was for the better goods. if francis came to this city, to play with us, you'd know he'd change. the player you talked about would go to clippers cause of friends and money, and if he does, he hasn't changed, and your 100 percent right.

Get him here as soon as possible, the city of houston will welcome him back home. This will be his chance to pull a baron davis type career revival.

It is so rediculous that people can actually talk negatively about steve that blows my mind. Point blank he is way better than all our current guards put together.(tmac & wells can be considered forwards) (no offense to our guards) Adelmans offense with a line up of Yao-Scola-Battier-Tmac-Francis how can that possibly be bad.

On top of that the 80 million dollar contract kind of screwed up his career, isnt this the first type he has been a free agent, all those years in situations where he had no control over anything.

Berman interviewed him watching a game at Fonde. Francis has met with the Rockets and Adleman. No decision yet, but the Rockets are one of the three teams just as has been reported.

 

Berman caught up with Francis tonight at the Fonde summer league games. SF3 said that he talked to Rick Adelman and that Houston is an attractive team. However, he was still non-committal, saying that it's "down to three teams". But from the sound of it, Houston is one of the final 3 teams he's considering.

So basically nothing has changed. Now the admins can ban all those 'insider' wannabes who were saying the deal was basically done. According to SF himself, that is NOT the case and he hasn't made a decision yet.

 

I'll take a pass on the reunion with SF3. He is over rated and hasn't done squat in the league since we traded him. Not to mention the mush between his ears, the guy has no b-ball IQ to speak of. I'll take more of JVG's offense before I go back to that Iso crapola!

SF3 has three final teams. If it is Houston it will because of his love for H-Town, be with his family during home games and because coach RA is a players coach like Rudy T.
