Yeah my bad I got confused by the last page. I thought the Rockets had already taken Jan Vesely. Lol actally I really like Jan Vesely and would have taken him, but I'm good with Ed Davis. He plays really hard, and with decent PG play he'll be phenomenal, especially once he bulks up a bit. Would have been top 5 last year if he had declared, and improved a lot this year. Imagine the shot blockng with Thabeet and Davis in the future...
Ok, I can still pick for the Rockets, right? If so, since we're loaded at the C, PF, and PG spots, I'm going to go with a swingman at the SF/SG position. For the 13th pick, the Rockets select Kyle Singler from Duke. I liked his play during the season and at Madness. I know it's a pick out of left field, but I think he would fit great on our squad. Air Bud II! I really think at C and PF, we're set with Yao, J. Hill, Jeffries, Scola, David Andersen and Hayes. It would be nice to add Vesely, but he's not going to see any playing time on our squad. Personally, I think we're overloaded at those positions. I think David Andersen might get cut next year since he sucks on the defensive end and lost out on playing time to J. Hill and Jeffries. At PG, we got AB, Lowry, and Taylor. At SF/SG, we have Battier, Ariza, K. Mart and Air Bud. We need more scoring and bodies at these positions. Kyle can provide that. I think DM will get a backup C either in free agency or maybe in an offseason trade. Sorry for the holdup, KenCus and TheRockMVP.
Uh, Broski there's nothing "PG" about Jermaine Taylor. And the Rockets are not set at center. Vesely would have been valuable. Henry's not a bad pick though.

Vesely would have been valuable, but you think he'll crack the front line? Taylor was running the PG spot when Lowry went down. I think he'll be fine at PG. Adelman runs Brooks and Lowry together at times. I think he'll run either a Brooks/Taylor & Lowry/Taylor combo next year. I was going to go with Henry, but I like Singler at that position.
Being a Dukie, I like Singler too. I'm surpised Chad Ford has him raked #41. I'm curious to see where he gets drafted.
Do not agree at all with the Singler pick. I think the Rockets should either trade up, or trade down and get 2 first rounders from another team. They could trade up for someone such as Greg Monroe, Wes Johnson, or hell even cousins. Or, they could trade down to get multiple first rounders, since in this years drat, I believe there's a big dropoff after the first 10 picks or so. With 2 first rounders, I'd like to see them pick up 2 of the following: Paul George, Avery Bradley, Jan Vesely, Devin Ebanks, Ekpe Udoh, Gordon Hayward, Damion James, Eric Bledsoe....well you get the point, the list goes on and on, but those are the main ones.
