Clutchfans Member Manny Ramirez is in the hospital after a car accident

Excellent advice. It can be difficult to continue PT after going through programs on several different occasions and having little success. Still, it can make a difference. Progress can be slow, so the temptation to say, "to hell with it!" is always there. PT, in some cases, can be quite painful. In fact, pushing yourself to that limit of the pain you think you can stand, and then going past it, can be when you really make progress. It didn't do me as much good as I was hoping for, but I shouldn't have needed it at all, according to Ridley Scott, who considers me an android, the turkey. (am I supposed to shoot myself, Ridley??)

My late mother was mugged in front of the entrance of a Kroger in Southeast Houston (literally parked in front of the doors in a handicap space) by a purse snatcher, and when he grabbed her purse, hanging from a strap on her shoulder, it flung her to the ground, dislocating her right shoulder, and fracturing a bone in there. Since she was 80 at the time, we figured that she'd never get good use of that shoulder and the attached arm again, but she was determined to, really got into the PT, and a year later you wouldn't have known that it had ever happened. Needless to say, that impressed me. So hang in there, Manny. Maybe you should dive into PT again, maybe try someone else. Could be worth it. -

 

Hard to believe that it is 4 years today that I had this terrible accident. Thankful for the community that we have here in clutchfans. I really believe that I was going to be okay because I had so many people pulling for me to be okay.
