Agreed ima. It's all 'armless. As long as Manny isn't.

Take care Manny. And take the money, brother. You know your moniker inspiration would! Grudges weigh down your soul. SacTown ain't worth that kind of burden.

this is the same forum where people made jokes about a 3 year old getting killed by a rolling log at a local beach.

if you didn't do something stupid and nearly get yourself killed this thread never happens. so in a way this ****tty thread is your fault.

I get it, the drama. I enjoyed some of the epic threads we've had here. I guess I just find it old now.

Like when Elaine walks into Jerry's apartment, "Well! I can't spend the rest of my life coming into this stinking apartment (forum) every ten minutes to pore over the, excruciating minutia, of every, single, daily event.."

    Ok PLEASE READ EVERYONE:

I was in a drunk/texting accident with a parked car recently. I feel STUPID as hell for it, and I know what I did was WAY wrong. I lost my car and felt horrible. At the same time I felt lucky as hell for what could have happened.

that being said I will never do that again. I think Manny MORE THAN ANYONE knows how lucky he is that he did not hurt someone else..and is still alive. No need to rub it in.

But even if SacTown rubbed it in...you guys made too big of a deal out of it. What he said was correct, and he should have been more considerate...but the way you guys reacted was terrible. He sent a donation because his family knows how tough it can be when someone is in an accident, for you to REJECT that is a sin.

Lighten up everyone. Manny is alive and learned his lesson. SacTown has lived through the worst side of car accidents and hates seeing careless drivers, who can blame him?

I would like to get in on this chic self-imposed banning trend we've been seeing around here as of late. In fact, this is my pledge to you:

I, state your name, do hereby renounce my posting privileges until approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012. With liberty and insanity for all. Amen.

    Starting...............NOW!

This thread is a trainwreck and a half. But I just wanted to add how glad I am that you're OK, Manny. The board would be a worse place without your input.

Apologizing to sactown for calling him a gutless clown. I don't think it's outrageous to point out factually true stuff. Rude...yes, but who hasn't had those moments? People sermonize on the net all the time. Don't take that stuff serially...

Life is too short. This thread is a reminder. You were lucky Manny. Even if it doesn't seem like it now or the near term, you have been given another chance at life.

Try to forgive a little, and remember what's most important.

Actions speak louder than words and even though Sactown is a major troll in the NBA Dish, (which is why people were so quick to jump on him for 'not donating'), he's alright in my books now.

I agree... and it is tacky to post on a public board how much you donated and then scan and post your PayPal transaction log. The motivation is obvious, and glad Manny didn't keep it.

I offered my sincere thoughts and prayers for Manny.

The motivation was to prove he did in fact donate after he was called out for not donating. It isn't tacky at all.

You have just earned the reputation of being a douchebag, so when people come to a thread they just assume you are the culprit. Really not fair because you didn't do anything.

He could have sent the message to Manny directly.. And yeah telling everyone you donated $120 is tacky IMO.

That might have been the appropriate response had manny asked him directly about it. Manny called him out publicly. I don't see why he should have edited out the amount. Seems irrelevant.

He did it because so many people here shamefully called and cursed him out, even called for a ban and because things turned ugly only because of wrong assumptions.
