I think it is a strong possibility that Deron could sign with Dallas but Dwight taking the extra year hurts b/c who knows how much Dirk could decline in that year that he is there. I think Deron will sign his ETO waiver also, maybe not today but before he becomes a FA and D12 will find his way to BK, both of them on new contracts.

Exactly. Mavs basically have nothing except Dirk (who's not going anywhere) Terry (who is not going anywhere) and then relics (Vince, Odom, Haywood)

Mavs with Williams alone doesn't scare me. They are already tied into 41 million, losing Terry, Carter, West, Odom. Basically Dirk, Dwill, Marion, Haywood...that's not going to be too good

Nets turning page, convinced DH is signing ETO. Will look to do a different deal - and no they're not moving Deron.

Interesting to see what they do...you think they would be ready to trade younger assets like brooks for more established players like....kmart ??

I'm fine with that. As long as we either get our draft pick back or get a young guy like brooks.

New Jersey is calling everywhere on possible deals, but one player emerging on Nets radar, sources say: Portland's Jamal Crawford.

Martin would be a better option for them.

That's a joke. NJ is trying to get Crawford for one of their trash contracts. Won't happen.

If they acquire Crawford, we could offer them....

Scola, Budinger and Dalembert for Lopez and Humphries(exp), Petro(exp).

We could throw in a couple of sweeteners to sweeten the deal!
