If that is all he costs then yes. I do it before they can change their mind.

If we were to decline that.. I'd lose faith in the Rockets management.

I think it would be a waste going after Deron. He is not necessary here and he will probably leave the 1st chance he gets.

Now i'd rather talk about this than Dwight!

    Howard opts in..

    Nets realize they're screwed..

Morey pounces at the last minute!

If Howard stays another year in Orlando, why aren't the Magic pushing to trade for DWill or will they sign him in the offseason? All they have to do is trade their big contracts and clear up space ...

I hope that means trading him to Houston, where he would be surrounded by talent already in place.

I'm afraid he'd just be a rental because if Howard isn't coming to NJ, I don't see what is going to keep DWill from becoming a Mav in 2012-13. NJ can try and keep him, and they should try, but really NJ is screwed in this Howard deal.

Not if we trade a that talent for him. Unless you mean Houston. Still though, If I am D-Will, I would go Dirk over a without any thinking...

So, I don't envision the Nets trying to trade Deron. You can bet Morey is throwing everything he can in their direction right now, but losing out on Dwight, compounded by losing the All Star they already have, would be too much.

Now, if the Nets want some of our players for their expirings like Turkcan, and yield their draft pick and return our own....

I mean, if it keeps Deron away from Dallas and sets us up with picks and cap space....

    Just sayin'.

Dwil is not being traded according to the Nets. You can never know though, they may be telling everyone that and then at the last second send him somewhere. I don't know if we should take a risk on renting him though... Especially if Howard will be in Orlando for his last year next year.

Looks like they are going the Morey route and betting he won't walk away from 30 Mil. Mark Cuban can jump all he wants but I can assure you it is far from a lock that Dwill will sign there. The new CBA insures that Max Players are penalized for walking early.
