Keep ignoring the fact that Lin blew that layup when he could have easily dribbled time off the clock when we had the lead with only a minute left to go. I can tell by some of these posts that a lot of y'all probably didn't even watch the whole game in it's entirety.

Rockets probably would've had a 4 point lead towards the end of the 4th quarter if Lin would have played smarter basketball. I noticed that Mchale immediately took Lin out of the game after he missed that heavily contested layup also.

Sounds like you're the one who didn't watch the game in its entirety. Remember the disallowed 3 the next possession? Who shot that? Lin was only sub out with 0.9 secs left, genius.

And just so you know, I posted that Lin should calm down in the game thread during his layup, but blaming him for the loss is just idiotic.

Worse scenario would be McHale again at the helm. He's seriously outcoached. Rockets need to replace Lin with a true shooter/defender ala Bruce Bowen and they'll be better. Also a good defensive PF would be a good addition if somehow Asik still wants out of the Rockets. This is no time to blame Lin. Just trade him and be done with it. This time hopefully there's no looking back.

 

Yes, very childish of him. Because all the LOFs who compared Clutch to Donald Sterling just because he posted a poll with Lin's own words are just so mature. I liked this little experiment of his because it shows that LOFs really are crazy in the head, you can't ever hope to have honest discussions with them because in their minds every word against Lin means you hate him, Asians or all minorities combined.

The thing that really bothers me about LOFs though is that Lin just isn't that good. If he was someone like Melo or WB or whoever who has the capability to become one of the best players in the NBA, then fine. But two years removed from "Linsanity" Lin still has not shown even one flash of that superstar potential displayed during those 2 weeks, he's a player who waffles between below average to above average almost night after night. That kind of guy isn't worth this kind of hype and hassle.

I was one of the biggest Lin fans when he arrived but this stupid ass fanbase has really turned me off Lin big time.
