Clutch did here is to make a point to the LOF's. They aren't getting it.

Listen up - all Clutch is saying is that the criticism that people are leveling against Lin, the criticism guys like Clutch is leveling - is the same exact criticism Lin is using.

Now you guys aren't getting that, so Clutch did this little experiment.

Can you LOF's just admit for once that MAYBE...just MAYBE you are being overly defensive and it's annoying as F.

Actually, Clutch made a fool out of himself with these posts.

You need to understand where Lin comes from before make anything out of his statement. Lin is raised by his traditional Chinese parents, in that culture, you always look at something you could do better. If you score 99 out of 100 in a test, you are told to look at why you lost the 1 point, instead of feeling good about the 99 your scored.

The same with what he said, which is he could have done better.

Get to know the person first, before try to interpret what he really mean.

I have a feeling Lin would never grade his first 4 games of this series as a 99 out of 100. I am very confident in that assessment. I bet Lin's parents, cousins, future wife, future kids all would also not grade him as a 99 out of 100.

So I suspect it's more like the 50 points he missed rather than the 50 points the got.

Like I said his easiest thing is to ban them- but he wants their clicks. Guess what happens if Lin has a good game tonight, they come out in drives and post like crazy--exactly what clutch doesn't want...or wait...maybe he does!

 

I'm smacking my head in shame as his upbringing is now brought in as an acceptable point used for a debate? I know I've done some silly things like argued for Lin's sake, but I apologize if I ever came off as this unreasonable.

You know what I mean, so there is no need to dig on this. I know it's very annoy to see so many people come here who think Lin can do no wrong. But I feel many old timers here took that frustration out towards Lin, which is unfair.

Score 99 or 50 out of 100, it doesn't matter, because he would not come out to say that he is the man, he did this, or that. He will always look at what he could have done better, which is exactly what behind his interview.

 

I really agree with this give or take the spelling. Not to make fun, I agree it's a sad day to boo a player just because he made a turnover at a key moment. That happens. Boo them if they run down the team or town, or say horrible things, but that's about it. Lin is all class, and yes, one one of the least consistent basketball players I've ever seen. He has what we'd call a very large sigma.
