If we lose big, we can't lose.

A complimentary player is WAY different than a player acting like a fool on the court trying to take over games and "beasting" when that player has no business to do so.

919 likes and over 7k posts... WAIT FOR IT... is all I need to know about your username and comment, but I thought I'd entertain... you know... for the heck of it.

Why can't we take that leap with Jabari and Eason?

Huh? Look, it is in the Rocket's best interest that KPJ plays well. Period. If nothing else, if he plays well, it falls in the category of "good problems to have" because the alternative is he walks at the end of the season and we get nothing in return. I'm feeling like you kinda wish for that outcome cause it seems you just don't like him.

I see you are much younger than me on this BBS. Most of those posts came long before the 'like' system was in place ...in fact, before Facebook was even a twinkle in Zuckerburg's eyes. But if having likes equates to worth for you, knock yourself out. Not trying to get into a personal pissing match. I was just making a silly comment about how it's in the Rockets best interest to maximize all their assets to set themselves up for future trades.

Here's another way to look at it:
If the Rockets are contenders in 3-4 years, >50% of this roster will not be on that team.

Harden came to the Rockets in 2012.
Just two seasons later, when they made it to the WC finals, exactly three players remained on the team with him from 2012 (Patrick Beverley, Francisco Garcia, and Terrence Jones). Not exactly foundational players.

So yea, don't sweat it if KPJ plays well. It would actually be a good thing.

I'm okay with KPJ playing well. Just not "beasting".
