    Clutch, what exactly is the deal with FSSW? What's this "Fox Sports Houston" stuff about? You mention in that article that the broadcasts are now controlled by FSSW, not Fox Sports Houston. I'm sure that's the same thing, just tailored to Houston sports a little more, but I was a little scared that the FS Houston broadcasts wouldn't reach us at all in Austin. If they're signed on with FSSW, shouldn't we see some of the games here? As an Austinite with apparent knowledge on the situation, what do you think we should expect in terms of future broadcasts?

    Frist off, I like Van. I think he did a fine job last year.

    BUT, if Murphy isnt asked back becasue of the odeal, that is injustice to Murphy. I feel, as fans, we need to do something to voice ourselves.

    Hagdoran wasn't anything special, but man I want Calvin back. Van sucks and keeps repeated the same things.

    That link will take you to Fox Sports Net, and you can specify your comments to FSSW. I already sent them a message about Calvin.

    According to Clutch's article, this has nothing to do with the Rockets organization. It says that FSSW controls the broadcasts now.

    I agree with YallMean, that would be unfair for Calvin if thats the reason. Does Fox Sports or the Rockets choose who they want? Anyways I have disliked Fox Sports forever. They have some stupid, unfunny, people at halftime life that John Ragdian and Dana Larson. I don't think they any thing about sports. At least Lisa knew something.

    Fox Sports sucks. Last year during Astros home brodcasts, they had Bill Worrell as a color commentator. He is a host, not a analyst.

    You know Van is going to be real busy with the comets even during the offseason. It wouldnt be a bad idea to split games betwee Murph and Van, so that it would allow Van to have some time off with the comets. ;)

    Time to get the ball rolling Houston. We need a "Bring Back Calvin" website, which I'm sure can be created by one of the many web designers on this board if they have the time. We need to start up a donation account to pay for the site, get a petition on it, email and call the local media about said site, bake Murph's favorite cookies and write "Bring Back Murph" on them and send them to the Rocket's office, and just keep telling Houstonians to check out the site and sign the petition.

    Seeing Calvin back was one of the main reasons I was looking forward to the upcoming season. I think if enough fans let the Rockets and FSN know how much we want him, they will bring him back. I sent in my thoughts and I encourage everyone else to do so also.

    That's just not right. Murphy has been a face of the Rockets his whole freakin career. Plus him and Worrell had great chemistry. I coudn't wait for the 05-06 season to start cause I was hoping he'd be back.

    And if anybodys wants to start a petition... you probably won't get anywhere going after the organization cause this is all on FSN.

    Murph Must Come Back!

    I suggest we start calling the talk radio shows here in Houston, get the word out there to the general public, so this does not slide by under the radar.

    Don't let up until someone with decision-making power is forced to face the fact that WE WANT OUR MURPH BACK!!!

    Horrible....straight Arabian porch monkey ****. He was found innocent.....they (Fox) has no idea what's about to hit them. All Murphy supporters (White...Black....Asian....Spanish.....etc) will unite like power rangers SON! :eek:
