Looks like this thing is stalling out.... Anyway still open to hitting Pearl, BW3, Pub Fiction or some other location on Friday the 20th, not so sure about playing basketball but with plenty of hydration might be able to drag my butt down a b ball court in Houston summer heat.
It looks like this thing is not going to get going until a place is picked. Why don't we say BW3 in the Village (since I still know how to get to the Village) at 6PM on Friday July 20th. I will my Minnesota Judo shirt which will make me easy to spot since I doubt there will be another person in Houston who owns.
I'll be wearing my Kenny "the jet"Smith jersey, parachute pants, and my cowboy hat-you probably will not notice me in the crowd- I will find you guys
i was just kidding about the basketball thing. i doubt anyone will be wanting to hoop after a few beers and wings. but we can definitely set up anohter hoops day.
Y'all can always come down to the blues show at Scooters IceHouse in Pearland on Friday 7/20. Blues, cold beer, and hot Houston sweat (yep, it's an old-timey one...indoor/outdoor).
I'm bumping this thread and am still going to be in Houston at the end of this weekend and will plan on showing up at BW3 on Friday. Hope people can make it and still interested in seeing FFB and Batman Jones in person.

Man, Scooter's has been there for ever. I'm pretty sure I remember riding past that place in the '70s. I have never been though. (I think)
i'd like to have a brew but im headed out of town. While you're in the village you might as well go to gingermans...that is if you like a good selection of beer.
We'll be doing three sets, beginning between 8:30 and 9:00 PM and going until about 1:00 AM. C'mon out and watch your beer sweat just like your body (it's an icehouse....indoor/outdoor....no AC).
I might be able to make it but no promises. I have a normal Friday afternoon happy hour routine that may get in the way. If it rains, I'll definately be at BW3 because my group normally meets outdoors. So count me as a definate ...maybe.
