W after first half scare. Yao plays meek, but the backcourt creates enough turnovers/fastbreak points for the 96-87 win.

Steve Blake gets time at point guard tonight with Larry Hughes out. He's not going to be dunking, but watch how he sets his teammates up for good shots tonight.

Wow, people ususally don't go into "Trade Steve for the point guard on the team we just played" mode until AFTER each game...

The only thing Steve Blake is going to set up tonight, is a facial from Steve Francis.

I can't see this one being close.

    Rockets- 104
    Wizards- 81

Yao- 27 and 12 on Haywood.

Rox must win this game. Soon they'll find they're running out of eastern teams.

Wow, nice pre-emptive bash. I'll be sure to watch Steve Blake, and his amazing 3.1apg and 7.7/48 assists average, which makes Francis 5.9 apg and 7.1/48 assists average look like day old dog poop, and I'm sure he'll teach this dog some new tricks.

I guess I 'll have to pay really close attention though since it only happens 3.1 times a game.

Don't forget about the fact that Blake gets 2.9 assists for every bad pass he makes...

... of course Francis gets 3.7 assists per bad pass....

What were we watching Blake for again ;)

but don't forget Sam, pre-emptive bashing at least makes reactionary white-line fever bashing look acceptable

Rockets would have been in top 4 had they kept turnovers low.

Brendan Haywood just fell down and grabbed Yao's "midsection" to create a 3-second violation.

Yao's about to unleash some fury.
(after he comes back in the 2nd quarter)
