Yeah and if Beverley starts with Lin off the bench Wizards wouldn't have ever been in the game period.

Of the top 15 guys in turnover per game(not counting Rose and Bryant, who barely played), only 2 average less than 17 points per game.

On most teams, the guys that score the most also turn the ball over the most.
Lebron and Wade lead the Heat in TO. Paul George leads the Pacers. Durant and Westbrook lead the Thunder. Parker and Duncan lead the Spurs. Griffin and Paul lead the Clippers. Howard and Harden lead the Rockets. The only exception is the Blazer, where Batum is 1st, and Aldridge is 4th.

The last part of his rant is the key to why he feels the way he does. Wizards were lucky to be in it in the first place and they are lucky the east is sooo weak or they wouldn't even have a playoff spot. Neither one of their "ALL-STARS" are actually all-stars. I've lived in DC for awhile and the fans here are delusional thinking that John Wall is the best point guard in the league, ****ty building, ****ty franchise.

There is no reason for a fourth option to have 5 turnovers, period.

John Wall played 41 minutes last night, took 19 shots, dished out 14 assists without a single turnover.

Bradley Beal played 36 minutes, took 24 shots, and only had 2 turnovers.

Lin needs to take better care of the ball.

Man, it must suck to be a Wizards fan. To just know, explicitly, that your team will always suck. :(

Luckily, I get to root for James Harden and the Rockets, instead. :) ****'s tight.

I dont think any one disagrees that Lin needs to take care of the ball. But to crucify him for tonight's collapse is silly. Its true that 5 TOs is bad for anyone but its not like its THAT bad especially for a PG.

Wizards played a very good game and frankly they deserved to win this game but its not like Wall or Beal was better than Lin that night. Both players played a really poor game. Both took AND bricked a lot of long 2s and for some reason almost never took the ball to the hole. I swear I thought Wall was purposely losing the game when he continued to shoot those bricks when the game was on the line. Plus, Wall's assist numbers were padded as **** when Ariza hit the zone in the third.

Overall, Lin played an average game but he certainly wasn't horrendous. If theres someone to blame for tonight's collapse, blame it on our perimeter defense for keeping Trevor ****ing Ariza open all night.

yes id rather not be talking about Lin like he is the only player to commit turnovers...in this game

maybe you dont think it is odd that a so called Rox fan wants to talk about just one player... and analyze his turnovers...

but it should be easily remedied... just dont reply back to us when we reply back to a so called Rox fan... and ignore

because we all know this hate were seeing, is more than just 5 turnovers in a game

    Missing larger point...

I agree that Lin had a bad night with the turnovers, but I wouldn't qualify it as an epidemic issue.

I think people are missing the bigger flaw with this team: its complete and utter lack of defense through large spans of the game. This coaching staff does not stress defense enough and its painfully obvious. Harden doesn't give a ***** about who he is defending. It starts with your best player. Did they not read the scouting reports...Ariza is a spot up shooter..that's the one and only thing he does particularly well. There's no excuse to let him hit 8 threes in one quarter. It's not just Harden, the Rockets entire starting lineup (and most of their bench) are below average defenders. It's not that they can't play D, they just don't. Until they fix that, they will not fare well against teams that move the ball and get quality half court possessions. The Rockets give away wide open shots to teams and expect to outscore them and win...and they do for the most part..looks great in the regular season, but IT DOES NOT work in the playoffs.

Fourth options also shouldn't ever average 2 points a shot and hold the other teams star to 6-19 shooting. What is your point exactly?

Agreed. Also when things go south everyone tries to ISO it and no ball movement what so ever.

Why can some of us just give it a rest to the endless and meanless discussions on Lin's turnovers?

Lin played a solid overall game offense and defense wises

Lin made a few turnovers he shouldn't have made. Hopefully he can improve.

Other players also made a number of mistakes they should't have. Hopefully they can improve.

JH played a solid defense but could have done a better job. Hopefully he can put effort on defense more consistently.

JH was clutch and he made very good decisions towards the end of game. He was a superstar.

    The Rockets won.

    End of story!

You're kidding, right? Dude, I'm glad the Rockets won the game and all, but you can't convince me that Harden played anywhere near "solid" D last night at any point in the entire game. It needs to be a point of emphasis; right now it's not. Hopefully it becomes one.
