Turnovers and missed free throws are killing the Rockets.

Should have stuck with Dorsey and DMo.

But the drop-off in Howard's game he came back from injury has been noticeable. In the first few games back, DMo was there to pick up the slack. Not in the last two games, and our game has really taken a step back

So any real journalist in Houston going to ask what the **** is going on with McHale rotation and Howard's cowardice, lackluster behaviour?

Was disappointed with the starters earlier on, but at least they showed some heart at the end.

Dude the truth in your world hurts. Give the team time to practice with the new additions. Still a long season to go. The Rockets will get it going.

This is simple. You put Smith back on the bench and start Dmo. Then from the bench, you play Smith, Dorsey, Pap, Terry and Brewer. You find a way for Brewer to get 25 minutes a game and you find some time for Pap as well.

Besides our horrible shooting, the other key is our ****ty ball movement. With Howard and Harden, the ball is just not going to move as much, which is fine, but you better not put another ****ing ball stopper in there with them. Dmo balances that line up at least.

It sucks losing these games, but hopefully McHale wakes up, which I really don't expect him too.

Dang it, another winnable game lost due to lack of effort by our starters - especially Howard.

I really wish McHale would take control and talk to him about his lack of effort out there, especially on D, when you see Dmo in there contesting 3pt shots on switches, while Howard stands in the paint instead of rotating you see how little effort he really exhibits.

McHale inserted Smith far too early into the starting lineup, before he even knows what he is supposed to be doing.

I am NOT a fan of Smith, but it is NOT fair to be asking him to do so much when he is clueless as to what the Rockets are supposed to be doing on offense and defense - this was poor coaching putting him in the starting lineup.

And if you make a switch and take out a two way player like DMo and put in a primarily defensive player like Smith, you need to adjust elsewhere to make up the offense, maybe start Canaan instead of Beverley to get a little more balance.

This starting 5 will not win many games - their offense is just absent, it is Harden, and Howard and no one else that can shoot 40%.

    Not good enough....

It's time to start Brewer ahead of Ariza. The Rockets need the shooting.

We sucked at both tonight(aside from that late 3-point barrage by Harden). If you're gonna hoist up a bunch of 3-pointers, you better make at least 35% of them. And you better be able to shoot at least 70% from the foul line as a team.

The Wizards didn't hoist too many 3's, but they made a good percentage of them. And they were automatic from the foul line. Shoot, even that dude who was 62% for the season made both of his attempts in the 4th quarter. There's your ballgame.

Should have fouled immediately..once again. Bad coaching. Those kind of mistakes will cost us dearly in the playoffs.
