I would like to hear you describe this to Mike Tyson

 

You're really just dead set on being a prick. Let people be excited. He's put in work all offseason on his shot and our first chance seeing him since then was a great showing. Let people have some fun

 

Why would I do that? Mike Tyson isn’t a play by play commentator for any sports team that I follow.

But if your point is he’d kick my ass, I’d just have to say Hollins at 7ft would have no problem kicking my ass.

 

You could also simply acknowledge that your replies to this and the original FT session post were lame, and that they surely need practice as well as a shooting coach, not simply either/or.

 

I'd imagine they've gotten plenty of practice shooting free throws. I mean I certainly don't believe we will be this bad all the time, but I do remember last year also struggling. I do believe a shooting coach would have more effect if they have an issue with their stroke. Matt Bullard use to talk about Christian Woods stroke last year at the line and how it needed to be corrected, and here we are, first game of the preseason and he was terrible at the line.

1. I think defense will be really bad this year... I guess everyone already knows that
2. JG's shots will fall. I was impressed by his aggressiveness. Not a GREAT first preseason game but still very much excited
3. Sengun is the real deal. I'm confident he'll be the starter by the season's end. He just makes winning plays. He is soooooooo legit
4. KJM might take decline this year... just not seeing it.
5. KPJ I think has the most pressure this year. He might get there, he might not. I'm definitely hoping as a fan but I'm still 50-50
6. I thought Hollins was absolutely terrible in his first game. Says too many "you know"s and acts like he knows when he doesn't. When Delfino was brought up, he laughed like he knew but he doesn't. He's just never been a Rocket. He needs to tone down a bit in general. Sounds too eager to prove he can do this commentary thing.
7. Christopher WILL make it in the NBA. He's just super confident. I think having JG on the same team helps him a lot.
8. Wood might not have as good of a season as he did last year. Partly because of KPJ&JG rising but partly because he's just not that great of a player. Typical good numbers bad team kind of a guy. Please prove me wrong
