Problem with Wood at 5 is that he has a good chance of getting injured if we do it for too long.

    It's called coaching and communication.

    Your takes are ignorant AF.

    Sprained ankles happen in basketball.

    At ALL positions.

Taking one random occurrence and declaring it a trend/pattern is fetid excrement.

Just come out and say you dont like Wood, at least THEN you're being honest.

Fun game, this will be fun, though we will lose a ton. Guys are going to give effort, that’s for sure. Theis and Augustin were great, Gordon I really don’t know why he looks lost, probably because we’re not good getting him his looks and space. KPJ, Christopher, Sengun and Green looked good and or had their moments. Green will struggle, but that’s okay. So will Sengun, but they at least don’t look lost. Defensively we might be bottom 5 in the league with all our gambling and communication issues, but I’m looking forward to see this team grow.

I am excited - no expectations - but ready to see the growth.

Nice dumb take of your own there. I actually really like Wood.

Playing Woods at the 5 on D does nothing but puts stress on his body (especially the lower half) and kills stamina.

    Now you're a doctor too.

Wood, not Woods, stepped on a foot and sprained his ankle.

**** like that happens all the F'ing time on BB court.

It’s called seeing players consistently get hurt when they plan positions they don’t normally play. You have to build up to it. This is common sense.

As for Wood vs Woods, smart devices have auto-correct but go on being OCD about it. Anyone with have a brain will know who I am taking about.

Tall task getting these youngins to play consistent defense... Best case scenario, they play some close games early .. Win a few , lose a few... Then maybe they'll focus and realize " hey, we could've won all these games and been the talk of the NBA"...

I suppose the term sample size means nothing to you? Here is a much more meaningful sample size... he is a career 32.3% shooter from 3 on 319 attempts. One game where he is hot changes absolutely nothing. How about revising this later he's shot at least 200 more 3's.

Wood's skill set has me wondering if he could play the 3. I'd like to see Silas experiment with him on the court with Sengun and Theis/Garuba, and any two backcourt players, and run the (dare I call it the Princeton) offense through Sengun.

I watched the game last night, it was clearly a game that Silas was just letting the guys play. Didn’t too many sets being ran. But I could be wrong. It was a good game. This team is going to be fun to watch this year win/lose. For a preseason game, I thought I would have cut the game off by the 4th quarter. Nope, my wife was like, you should finish watching the game.

Free throw shooting looks like it might be a problem this year but I hope I am wrong and that young guys will settle in. Same goes for focus on defense. I feel that their focus on Defense will be a struggle early in the year, but will get better as the year goes on. I haven’t been this excited for rocket ball in a long time, even when we had James Harden.. That’s says a lot.

It's like getting new toys on Christmas. We don't know how long it will last or hold our attention/patience, but it's new and shiny and we like it!
